I am very pleased with the care that my father received while under the care of the Mercer Healthcare Center. He made rapid strides in his progress. The team was in constant contact regarding his care and any needs he may have. I would highly recommend this facility, in my experience.

WARNING!!! Do not send your loved ones here, especially if they have a chance of living a longer life. This place is far from good. The faculty was disgusting. We had two family members sent here. One whom was supposed to be in rehab so she could get better and go home. Nothing was done for either one of them, they never fed them on time and never get medication or got too much medicine. They both ended up in critical condition in which the one who was in rehab ended up with tunneling bedsores and passing away. The other one ended up at another nursing home an hour away but with better care. The social workers, administration and staff in general do not care for anyone. Can't report it cause when yoy do they cover it up and say your lying. They even let one of our family members who was blind fall off of the bed several times. Never took him to be checked and shoved him in a corner and left him. He was still a person. Had to beg them to let him listen to the TV and to put a fall mat down. We know a few other people who also was admitted here for rehab and other reasons in which no one we have seen put here has survived.

My dad was discharged today after he suffered a fall and needed rehab after surgery. He is 91. I have to say I was impressed with the whole experience. The facility is clean and everyone we came into contact with was so caring and even asked if I needed anything. They knew he loves his coffee and they would bring him a cup multiple times a day when they could have waited for mealtime. He loved a juice and the nurse went out of her way to find out the name so we can purchase it. I had no concern leaving him at night. Physical therapy was great with him and helped him exercise an old injury as well as the new. He was treated with respect and care. I would have no reservations if we needed the facility again to go back. We appreciated everything done for him.

My mom was recently a patient at Mercer Health Care. Dr. Savol and Tim Prescott PA were excellent providers. They listened to all my concerns and formed a plan of care for my mom. My mom had suffered a recent stroke and was having difficulty swallowing and speaking. Within 5 minutes of her being in the facility, speech therapist, "Sami" was there to evaluate mom's swallowing so she could order appropriate meals for her. Sami continued to work with mom throughout her stay. Mom also received physical therapy and occupational therapy. The nursing staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They took time to answer my questions and address any family concerns. Mom was gotten up daily. Had fresh clothes on daily, and received scheduled whirlpool bathes. The CNA's all knew her as, Miss Opal. Eventhough mom's speech was usually garbled they seemed to learn her quickly and had a way of figuring out what she wanted. My mom's health was slowly declining due to no appetite. Her last few days in the facility were spent in bed while she slowly became more unresponsive. The nursing staff kept her pain-free with medication and kept a watchful eye on her condition. Her last day there, family members were in and out of her room all day. The staff later that afternoon brought in a cart with snacks and beverages for the family. We were amazed and very impressed! They took care of my mom and our family until my mom's final breath. Mom was only there one month but the staff did what I couldn't do. They provided 24 hour care for her. We left there feeling like we were saying goodbye to new friends we had made along our mom's final journey. Thank you! Family of Opal McKinney.

Mercer Health center is a wonderful facility. My uncle has been there for A little over a year, and they have been wonderful with him from the director all the way down to cleaning staff. The doctors, nurses activities, business office case managers, social workers, dietary therapy, and cleaning staff all know my uncle personally ain’t treat him like he is their family if anything I ever needed or question about they’re always there to help me understand or figure it out. I have no worries, knowing that he is safe, healthy, and gets to do many things as a patient with activities. The director is always available to speak to me. I am one grateful niece for going above and beyond for my uncle.
