I attended Eldercare at Menno Haven, Chambersburg, PA starting May 31, 2024 into fall 2024. I suffered a serious fall October 2024, hospitalized 8 days, then to inpatient physical rehab therapy 10 days, after discharge home, physical therapy came to my home for 4 weeks. I tried returning to Elder Care in late November 2024, however, when I returned, my required physical therapy was not provided. I was not given the courtesy of an explanation, despite earlier in the year I received necessary physical therapy. I was not made to feel that welcome when I first started attending, after my return I was not welcomed ar all. With the increase in charges, not welcomed, necessary, required physical therapy not provided....made it easier for me not to attend anymore.

My mother has lived here over 10 years now. Overall the staff is caring and knowledgeable and communicate well with me when needed. They try and have different activities to keep the residents busy and work to keep them interacting.

This place is truly a Haven for the elderly. Best kept facility I've ever stepped in. The residents are provided with the upscale care they deserve.

An amazing place staffed with amazing people who have taken great care of my grandparents, my great aunts and a great uncle over the past two decades. The food is incredible, everyone is friendly and the facility is attractive inside and out.

I give this two star review only because of the efforts of the few that care. I have been in several time in the last 6 months to visit. And every time I'm shocked by what I c. The staff a specially the CNA'S are treated like crap, looked down appon and they seam short staffed. Herd a lpn I believe giving a CNA, who is amazing to the residents in terms of care, crap for report so much then later saying the same peon needed to go to the hospital almost 2hours later for the same thing she (the CNA) reported. When I over herd her tell the CNA she was fine and to stop bugging her. I spoke with my family and we move our family member to another facility I'd. I just feel bad for thoughs still there.
