A Place of Love, Dignity, and True Understanding Memory Matters has been an absolute blessing for my family and especially for my grandmother. From the very first day, she felt welcomed and cared for in a way that went far beyond what we could have hoped for. She adored every single staff member and volunteer, often speaking of them with such warmth and familiarity, as if they were part of our family. It wasn’t just the kindness in their smiles or the patience in their voices—it was the way they met her exactly where she was, every single day. For my grandmother, time often felt like it had rewound thirty years. She believed she was back in another chapter of her life, and instead of correcting her or making her feel lost, the team at Memory Matters stepped into her world with grace and respect. They engaged her in conversations that honored her memories, found ways to connect her past to the present, and gave her dignity in moments when confusion could have easily turned into frustration. That level of empathy is rare, and it meant the world to us. Each day she spent there was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful activities. She came home happier, calmer, and with a spark in her eyes that reassured us she was not just being looked after—she was being deeply cared for. For our family, Memory Matters also provided something invaluable: peace of mind. Knowing she was surrounded by people who truly loved and understood her allowed us to breathe easier, and the caregiver support resources they offered made us feel less alone on this journey. Memory Matters is not just a program; it is a community. It’s a place where compassion meets purpose, where families are supported, and where individuals like my grandmother are honored and cherished exactly as they are. We will always be grateful for the incredible people who gave her so much love and dignity.

“A True Gift to Families and the Community” Memory Matters is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, compassion, and dedication that radiates through every staff member and volunteer. It’s not just a day program for individuals with Alzheimer’s—it’s a safe haven filled with joy, dignity, and purpose. The activities are engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each person’s abilities, creating moments of connection and happiness that are absolutely priceless. What sets Memory Matters apart is how much they also give back to caregivers and the broader community. They don’t just provide daytime respite—they provide hope, guidance, and resources that truly ease the difficult journey of caregiving. Whether it’s through educational workshops, support groups, or simply a listening ear, their team understands the challenges families face and goes above and beyond to walk beside them. This organization isn’t just enriching the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s; it’s uplifting the entire community. Their commitment to care, compassion, and contribution makes them a beacon of light. Choosing Memory Matters means choosing peace of mind, support, and an extended family that genuinely cares. I cannot recommend Memory Matters highly enough—it is a blessing to all who encounter it.

We went to see if they could help us and left with a headache and problems that we DID NOT have. Contrary to the mission and values that the place proposes, we were extremely poorly served by Mrs. Z. There was NO compassion, not even the slightest understanding. The worst of all was that we asked for confidentiality and they violated our right to confidentiality of information. The expectation was so negative that we felt our right to freedom was threatened. THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE seeking help at this place.
