I would like to start off by saying that you have an exceptional ,and amazing staff here at Medicana. Their names are as follows: Nurse Victoria-Amazing super kind and kept the family informed according to a need Nurse Monique-She and Nurse Victoria reflected the same kind approach. Nurse Lucette-very gentle,.quiet and mild spirit, yet very much involved with the patient and family. She is competent in her field her soft approach will put anyone at ease. Nurse Alex-A gentle quiet man and he too is very much in touch with the patient. Nurse Sandra-Very kind, compassionate, competent and eager to make the patient and family feel at ease. She is a true professional in her field. Nurse Cindy-I learned a lot about Cindy-she is very focused in her work, yet she loves her patients and she is aware that the family is there. She has to have something very special-a gift-that allows her to express her concern for people and yet not to suffer what some medical professionals experience "Compassion Fatigue". She is truly an amazing asset to this facility. Nurse Normandy- I had very limited time with Nurse Normandy however I know she cares for the patients in her care. Nurse Berline-Lovingly cared for my sister's need-Very quiet but in tune with the patient and family. Nurse Betine-She too lovingly cared for my sister's need-reflected the same personality as Nurse Berline. Great asset to this facility. CNA's (1) Tiffany-Outstanding -extremely hard worker-loves her work and cares deeply about the patients (2) Marie-Outstanding quiet mild spirit and works very hard in caring for the patients in her care (3) Prudence-Very loving kind and hard working (4) Anise-Kind, considerate, hard working and eager to please those in her care... (5) Enite-kind, hardworking, full of kind deeds (6) Happy-she reflects the definition of her name. (7) Kiara-outstanding hardworker-she reflects the same demeanor as Tiffany. If I missed anyone and they contributed to my sister's care, please know that your kindness and attentiveness was greatly appreciated. Thank you all for taking such good care of my dear sister, Linda! Diane Homer

Where do I even begin? Medicana Nursing & Rehab Center has truly been a blessing to our family. As my Great Aunt got older and needed more support, we reached out to Mexicana after hearing so many positive things about their long-term care. After weeks of going back and forth, it was not easy, however we finally made the choice. Looking back today, it was one of the best decisions we could have made. It has been an amazing 6 months, and we are beyond grateful for the care she has received. The staff has been absolutely incredible from day one. They are kind, patient, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure her daily needs are met with dignity, compassion, and respect. From the moment we first walked through the doors, we felt genuine warmth, professionalism, and a true sense that the people here really care. What stands out most is that it’s clear that they truly care about their patients, not just as residents, but as family. And that means everything to us. The nurses are wonderful, always taking the time to double check her medications, answer our questions fast, and making sure our family feels informed and comfortable every step of the way. The doctors and medical team have also been amazing, helping her with things that have become more difficult over time and showing so much patience and care in the process. The kitchen and dining staff deserves a praise as well. The food is good, the portions are generous, and they make sure residents have what they need at every meal. It is clear that every department plays a part in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment. The peace of mind we have knowing that our loved one is safe, cared for, and treated with respect is something we cannot put into words. We are incredibly thankful for everything Medicana Nursing & Rehab Center has done for our great aunt and for our family. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, quality long-term care for someone they love.

My stay at Mwsicana was pleasant. I literally have no complaints. I had my moments were I was a little groggy during the process but the nurse was very patient with me. Rehab was very attentive and went beyond their job. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is a really good place to be. I like it very much because of all the benefits and help I received here. I have been living hefe for about 2 years and I have not had no problems. The business office works with me. The therapy staff especially Sherryl and Tamara are good at their job and have helped so much with my rehabilitation. The kitchen staff and director Shirley are very helpful with my request and preferences. Rose is a exceptional worker. Last but not least Pauline and the activity ladies and Social worker Ashlle are very fun and helpful. The environment is very clean and livable. All the staff in general is very pleasant.

Before I came to Medicana I was in 3 différent nursing homes prior. When I arrived I had hardly no sight and could not walk due to a stroke that left me bed ridden for 1 year. The therapy staff and admissions greeted me with such a welcoming encouragement. Now I can walk and see clearly. The staff and activity department are so attentive and keep us busy. I have had enjoyment, adventures and the ability to go on outings. I recommend coming here and becoming part of of our family because this truly became my home.
