I am familiar with numerous Assisted Living facilities in Montgomery County MD. Brooke Grove is superior! Great care and attention were given to both of my parents.
My dad passed away at 95 in 2011 after living 10 months in one of the group homes in The Meadows. My mom passed away at 102 in Dec 2022 after living 11 years in one of the group homes in The Woods. Caregivers, nurses, cooks, life enrichment staff, social worker, housekeepers, and managers gave outstanding care. All staff went the extra mile to answer my questions; they comforted me during Mother's last few months when she was fading away after losing interest in eating and drinking. Nurses continually checked on her during the last month of her life; they went above and beyond the call of duty. I was always kept informed of the status of Mother and Dad, and I participated in each six month review.
The nurses worked closely with medical professionals when medications, treatments, or consults were needed. Brooke Grove is the best!!

Hard working staff there, but truly understaffed. Especially evenings, nights and weekends.
