This is my very first google review and not something I will likely do in the future. Recognizing the entire staff at McIntosh called me to do this. For a full year, McIntosh was the home for my 32 year old friend with muscular dystrophy who needed full personal care for just about everything. Although this young man initially dreaded going into a skilled nursing facility, the warmth, friendliness, kindness, love and skilled care the entire staff consistently demonstrated quite dissolved his anxieties. After losing both his parents and being an only child, he had no other family. McIntosh staff and residents adopted him completely and became his new family. He was truly happy there. I visited at least 1x week and could not have been any more impressed by the level of respect and care he and all the residents receive at McIntosh. My friend was even given agency about when he went to bed and got up. The activity young women go above and beyond to encourage community with several activities daily. Sadly this young man recently died as a result of his medical condition. As they'd been since day one, through this sad process, the staff because even more loving and caring. We had his memorial there last week because that's where his home/family are. McIntosh gave him a beautiful and honoring sendoff... My mother in law is at another skilled nursing facility in Longmont and while the aesthetics where she resides is superior to McIntosh, the care she receives is far inferior to McIntosh in very way....

McIntosh Care Center was a wonderful find for a community of us who helped a young man, who used a wheelchair, find a new place to live after he lost both his parents and had to move out of his condo 14 months ago. The staff at McIntosh Care Center could not have been more sensitive to and accepting of this young man in making him feel welcomed and in meeting his needs. The care he received was very good and the “caring” he received was exceptional. He found a new “home” and blossomed in a huge number of ways. He made friends with so many of the residents. The staff treated him with love, kindness and respect. We are very grateful for the care he received at McIntosh.

For the last 13 months, the staff at McIntosh have lovingly and attentively cared for one of my clients. I have visited frequently and the vibe is always good there. The place isn’t the prettiest, but it’s the loveliest. Honestly, the staff and residents just gave my client the best year of his life because he was so loved and well taken care of. My client, who did not have friends before, made friends there. Mindy, Kim and all of the nurses are so genuine and caring. The activities gals Kaya & Harmony pour their love into their residents and help them to enjoy their stay. The CNAs and RAs are so kind and caring. Julie the Business Manager went over and above to handle complicated insurance issues. Even the maintenance guy Donald (who brings his disabled pet duck, Kevin, who happens to be a female), always brightened up my client’s day. When my client was dying, Donald brought a hockey puck to put on his chest, and all of the staff who saw it knew that it was a representation of their friendship. It was a sweet gesture that made everybody cry. This place is a family. I have just had the privilege of witnessing the miracle of my client feeling loved, welcomed, and accepted like never before. I highly recommend McIntosh Care.

I at McIntosh for almost 6 weeks after getting sepsis and needed antibiotics through IV. I cannot express just how fantastic the staff in facility were. Everyone was very knowledgeable, so compassionate, patient, and just the best people. My nurses were amazing, Glory, Melinda, Steven, and Angela were the ones I had the most but every single nurse, CNA, the whole stuff we're so kind, Virginia was awesome cna. Julie, I believe she's the business manager interacted with the long-term clients making them feel so cared abou, she was as well. Honesty did menus and extra things as well her mom Crystal was wonderful too. Ezekiel and his mother Nicole, did just amazing group of people. The facility itself is there a unique with a Whimsical kind of setting. I loved my room and the bed was so comfortable, I'm not kidding, that is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I saw how the stuff took personal interest in the long-term patience who will be there possibly for the rest of their lives I've never seen such an amazing group of people I cannot say enough great things about the facility and the staff. And highly recommend to anyone for themselves or for their loved ones. I will have knee replacement surgery done later this year and will be going back to Macintosh for my Rehab Therapy and I'm looking forward to it 😁. I can't say enough great things about the facility and every single staff member, rest assured that you are your loved one will be taken care of and treated with compassion and dignity. Great facility in the best group of people. Much love and gratitude for people and the care I received.. I was there during the holidays and place was so festive and Cheery with decorations and the most beautiful Christmas trees everywhere. The stuff pitched in and gave Christmas presents to every single patient, that was the best Christmas I have had in over 30 years. I honestly miss all of the stuff and my cozy room and comfortable bed and I'm looking forward to getting my knee replacement so I can go back 😁

As a hospice care partner in facilities, I go into a lot of different nursing homes and I have to give a glowing review to McIntosh Care Center!! Their team is always so kind and inviting, and their DON Mindy holds high expectations for the care provided. She is always actively involved in patient care and you can tell she is genuinely invested in each residents well being.
