Absolutely the worst. A lot of no call no shows. No communication. Nobody seems to care. My father and I finally getting along after years at turmoil. We don't really argue about much anymore and I'm taking care of him now. I have spinal cord issues myself. My entire spine has been fused. So I do my best to help my dad. Really the only time me and him fight is when the nurse doesn't show up in the morning and it creates a lot of undue drama. If you can stay away from these people do it. We're getting them through the VA hospital. They are the absolute worst. Getting really tiresome. None of their helpers like to show up before 8:00 in the morning. My father goes to bed at 11:00 at night he would like to have them here at 7:00. But that's too early for them. My father feels bad for me because I help him out throughout the rest of the day and all through the night and doesn't want to wake me up in the morning to help him. So he'll sit there in that chair waiting for and aid till about 8:30 9:00 in the morning. Yeah these people really suck. A lot of these reviews about a wonderful atmosphere yada yada yada. Must be posted by administration that work there. How could you have an atmosphere at a home health company when AIDS come to your house. Of course it's a pleasant atmosphere you're at your own home. Obviously I have a bone to pick with these people.

The administration and staff have been very kind and understanding with my situations. I have autistic twins non-verbal and they try to be helpful for me as well as them. They are very honest and down to earth and I feel comfortable with them. Even with last minute changes on any end, because life happens, they let you know. The agency that works with my twins' uncle, I cannot say the same.

The caregivers themselves were good but many times they didn't show and I never felt like I could depend on them being there when they were suppose to be. The office staff was very unprofessional. I would recommend looking elsewhere if u need reliable caregivers. If they come back saying they have no record of us that is because my last name is different than my loved one who they serviced.

Overall, not a bad place. We just recently started using Maxim and their coordinators communicate really well with me. However, within their first week of sending aids the one male aid was horrible with my family member. He was dismissive, wouldn’t help him with anything, didn’t want to speak to him, and literally just sat there on his phone the entire time. I no longer have that aid but I pray for any other family who gets him because he really does not care about any of his patients from what I have gathered. Imagine if something happened and my family member was hurt because that man didn’t give him a minute of his time. I’ve informed Maxim of this, but also thought it necessary to put it out there to other families because no one should have to worry about whether a family member is being taken care of or not. If you think an aid is not doing a decent job call them and they will help you get a different one.

This agency has little regard for patients and their families. The aides come and go whenever they want as if they are the boss of you. We never know if someone will actually show up to care for our disabled family member. When the aides do come, they are generally lazy. The agency rarely communicates with patients or families and often lies when they do. Avoid this agency at all cost.
