Finding an assisted living situation for our mom was stressful for our family as we were in uncharted territory. Crosby Commons has turned out to be the perfect fit for our very social mom as she has daily opportunities to chat, make new friends or just stay in and watch TV. The staff is incredible - always helpful, cheerful, and very tuned into the needs of everyone in the community. Lauren the Activity Director is tireless! Activities happen continually so there is always something to do including themed parties, movies, and games. They offer almost weekly a minibus trip to accessible gardens, the shoreline, restaurants or just a “mystery ride” into the country. Our mom got into the groove immediately and we kids breathed a big sigh of relief.

Crosby Commons has been a great choice for my parents once they decided they couldn't take care of their own home any longer. Lori and her staff are the most caring and professional people at their jobs. Most importantly, they treat the residents as if they were their own family members. That is most important, as each day, my Dad has friendly faces and welcoming activities to do, or just sit down and talk to someone who wants to listen. Hector and his kitchen staff produce high level meals every day and he is open to the requests of the residents to try new dishes and entrees. The place is spotless and always a warm decor to walk into.<br>We are very thankful we found the whole Crosby Common family, we highly recommend it for your aging family members.

It was difficult deciding where my Aunt should be once we knew that she couldn’t stay in her home anymore by herself. We visited many assisted living facilities in the area and Crosby stood out over all others. We gave all on our list a second chance and all this did was confirm the choice to be Crosby Commons. This small community is personal, inviting, inclusive, and cares about its residents completely. There are many activities to be involved with, but Crosby lets the residents decide in which they want to be participate. The staff is exceptional and caring, from the Executive Director, Lori, to the Chef, waitstaff, and everyone in between. All holidays, major and minor are celebrated as well as each residents birthday. It took less than a week for everyone to know my Aunt, by first name, and our family could not be happier with our choice.

This is the best place that we could have found for my mother to live in, after living by herself became too much. The facility is beautiful, with the landscaping always vibrant and changing with the seasons. Hector and his culinary staff work hard to ensure that there is a great variety of food, and that it tastes very good also. The entire management staff - Lori, Lisa, and Kelly - work hard in their areas to make sure the residents are treated well, have plenty of activities to keep them occupied, and make the families comfortable with the care their loved ones are receiving. I think the most telling thing there is that every staff person, whether they are at the front desk, the dining room staff, or in housekeeping, seem to make it their personal responsibility that the residents are well taken care - you never get the impression that they are just there doing a job for 8 hours. The result of all of these can be seen in the residents - they are happy, interactive, and well taken care of.

From the director, the staff and residents, this is the most outstanding assisted living facility our family could of experienced. There are always things to do and places to go. The food is delicious, abundant and a great variety to suit every taste bud. You walk into Crosby Commons front doors and feel instantly welcomed and at ease. This assisted living community is always clean and highly organized. My favorite part are the residents, watching how happy and excited the people get. You hear constantly about how much they enjoy living at Crosby Commons. What a great experience for our mother who would always thank us for finding a place for her likeCrosby Commons. She would say with a big bright smile , and melodious voice, "Living here is wonderful, I am live like a Queen!" That in itself says it all about how happy and satisfied we all were with our experience at Crosby Commons.
