About Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Community

ERS strongly believes in the power of people. In keeping with our core value of Inclusion, we stand with our sisters and brothers, affirming the infinite worth of all individuals. There is much we can change, moving from a society full of racism and making our world a better place.

INDEPENDENT / RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Independent Living is ideal for residents who prefer to live life on their terms, just like they always have. The biggest difference between this community and your home will be the wide variety of programs and activities to participate in if you so choose and our professional, compassionate staff who cares for many of your needs.

Residential Living is similar to Independent Living, except that residents have the option to receive extra support and assistance in their independent living apartment without the hassle of having to move to another level of care. These services include anything from extra housekeeping or laundry services to regular medication reminders and enhanced dining options.

ASSISTED LIVING / PERSONAL CARE

If you need a helping hand or more aid, we offer a variety of assisted living-like services to fit your unique needs. At Deupree House and Marjorie P. Lee, we call them "Plus" packages that are delivered within our Residential and Independent Living households. At Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, KY, we call this level of service "Personal Care."

Living Plus packages within our Independent and Residential Living households and buildings provide options for residents who may need some extra support and assistance in their independent living apartment.

These services range from extra housekeeping or laundry services to regular medication reminders and enhanced dining options. We call these services, Plus packages, and they have been designed to provide the best value for the majority of our residents. Services are also available for those who may only need intermittent support.

Personal Care

Following state guidelines for Personal Care, Episcopal Church Home residents can receive minimal assistance with activities of daily living. The monthly fee increases as these additional services are provided.

The first level of expanded services includes medication administration and minimal assistance with bathing. The second level of expanded services includes medication administration, minimal assistance with bathing and dressing, and consistent assistance during the night.

With access to the services and amenities of our wider communities, there is a broad array of options available to you to ensure you stay as independent and active as possible, while still enjoying the lifestyle you want.

MEMORY CARE

For your loved one living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, the person-centered memory care at Marjorie P. Lee in Cincinnati, OH, and Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, KY, will enhance their quality of life. In each of these communities, our highly-trained staff attends to the specialized needs of individuals with memory loss to ensure they still live with freedom, choice, and purpose in their daily lives.

Our memory care support program offers individualized attention with a stimulating family setting. Our residents remain active and enjoy one another’s company in open kitchens and living rooms. Privacy is just as valued. Residents and families can add their personal decorative touches to their spacious apartments.

LONG-TERM CARE

Imagine a nursing home where residents receive the highest quality of care and are encouraged to take charge of their day and make their own decisions all delivered in a comfortable household setting.

That’s what a nursing home should be. It’s what ERS communities are.

The expertise of our caring, compassionate and well-trained staff, combined with our person-centered care philosophy, assures residents and their families they are in the most capable of hands.

Our high staff and resident satisfaction scores, low staff turnover nursing homes are innovative and on the cutting edge of technology. Deupree Cottages, for example, was one of only six American nursing homes recognized in the book Design for Aging: International Case Studies of Building and Program for being among those with excellent aged-care environments.

What’s more, ERS was chosen as a regional pilot site by the Greater Cincinnati Hospital Council to develop electronic medical records transfer systems between hospitals and their nursing care centers.

Our mom decided when it was time to consider where her future care and daily living needs would be met.<br>Marjorie P Lee easily met her criteria. Don't pay the nurse for doing your parents pills they don't make sure they take them multiple weeks go missed of meds they are playing games talk about poor service for the price you pay. This is not the first time it's going to end in some one getting badly hurt because they simply do not care and lie and make excuses about it. they also had a resident that had bed bugs that they kept giving to my grandparents via the housekeeper and they threatened to kick them out because housekeeping doesn't change the vacuum bags which is what was causing them to get the bugs definitely find a different place

Our mom transferred to Marjorie P. Lee from Mariemont Care Center. The experience has been incredible. Our mom is 92 and had a broken pelvis in 3 places. As soon as we transferred her, she had a team of care people surrounding her: social workers, therapists, Aides, Nurses and even the cleaning staff. All the personnel seem to love their jobs, take pride in providing quality care and really care about the people they are treating. The first facility are mom was at was horrible. She was failing to thrive. In the 3 weeks at Marjorie P. Lee, she is up and walking and ‘independent’ once again. The joyful people surrounding our mom, the care that they express, the attention to details, all contributed directly to her recovery. I highly recommend them. These are all things that were missing at the first facility she stayed at. I know first had the difference and am so thankful we made the move! For family, a wrong facility can be great cause for anxiety. Our experience at Marjorie P Lee has been one of recovery for our mom and peace for the family members!
