My husband has been a resident of Marjorie Doyle for one year. This Memory Care is an A+ facility. The staff have been consistently attentive, caring, and compassionate. The place is clean as a whistle and has great food for the residents. Jenna Malone is an excellent administrator as is EVERY staff member on the leadership team. It took me a long time to 'relax' and 'trust' as having a husband with alzheimer's presents immense challenges such as loss, grief and guilt! They are sensitive to staffing issues, and have LPN's administering the medications instead of 'med techs'. With our US healthcare system as it is, this is truly a facility to be praised. Thank you, MDRC.

MDRC does a wonderful job for their residents. The environment is comfortable and safe for the residents. I primarily have the opportunity to interact with Joan. Families looking for memory care are so lucky to be in her capable hands as they explore Marjorie Doyle. Joan goes above and beyond what any "sales" person would normally do. She continues to know the residents long after they have moved in and is involved in advocating for their well-being as she also stays connected with families. It is a pleasure to work with her and the MDRC team.

Hard to imagine how these guys could have done a better job over the last two years. I was already a fan before anyone ever knew what Covid was, but MDRC took a damn near impossible situation and made it tolerable for the residents and those of us who worry about them.<br><br>Part of it was the prescient design of the physical facility - who knew that the three house system would be perfectly designed to deal with the pandemic - but the rest of it was the communication, attitude and day to day that kept everyone safe and as comfortable as possible. We thank them for the effort.<br><br>My mother has been a resident for over two years now, and while the decline inexorably continues, the people at MDRC do everything they can to make it that much more tolerable, I feel like I pretty much know almost everyone there by now, and I’m glad we landed there.

Over 3 years ago my family conducted a thorough search of Capital District memory care assisted living residences for our 90+ year old Mom. Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center (MDRC) was head-and-shoulders above all others, and our Mom has been happy, comfortable and safe there ever since.<br><br>The MDRC team is uniquely skilled at patiently assisting my Mom with all the aspects of daily living as independently as possible. The professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth of every team member at MDRC has always impressed us. It is clear to us that the employee-to-resident ratio is significantly higher at MDRC versus other places.<br><br>We love that MDRC has the look and feel of a cozy, comfortable home, versus the institutional atmosphere of nearly all the other memory care residences we considered. They have a bountiful array of daily entertainment options and social activities at MDRC. For most day-to-day professional health care needs those providers come to MDRC.<br><br>Lastly, during these troubling pandemic times since early 2020 the MDRC team has done an outstanding job of keeping covid outside looking in. Their proactive stance and highly protective covid prevention protocols have ensured that our Mom and her fellow residents are today healthy and safe.<br><br>It is a genuine comfort to our family that our Mom enjoys living at MDRC.

Went to visit a resident for a placement Screening and felt I was treated like a criminal. Made to wait in reception complained I hadn't called staff to make an appt and then case manager insisted on coming into residents room throughout my. Visit very strange never treated like this in any other facility.
