Maple City Square is an affordable, subsidized housing community for low-income seniors aged 62 and older and persons 18 and over with mobility impairments in La Porte, Indiana. The community offers 29 apartments, including twenty-one one-bedroom and eight studio units, with three apartments specifically designed to accommodate mobility-impaired residents. Rent is based on approximately 30% of adjusted income, with the Department of Housing and Urban Development subsidizing the remainder for qualifying residents.

The community is situated in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to shopping, medical services, pharmacies, banks, and restaurants. Local transit service TransPorte stops at the property and offers discount multi-ride cards for seniors, providing direct transportation to destinations throughout La Porte. Several banks, pharmacies, and grocery stores are accessible on foot.

Residents enjoy a variety of social activities and programs, including frequent parties, potluck suppers, bingo, card games, board games, seasonal gardening activities, and a knitting and sewing program called Project H.A.N.D.S. The community features a large resident garden area for flowers and vegetables, a puzzle and craft area, and a community room where residents gather for social hours and events. Maple City Square welcomes pets, allowing one cat or dog per apartment with restrictions and a $150 pet deposit.
