My mother was admitted for rehabilitation in April 2026. The rooms are outdated with old worn furniture. Instead of feeling like a place focused on healing and recovery, it felt depressing. The gym had a very strong, unpleasant odor that made my mother feel uncomfortable. It wasn’t well ventilated and the therapists weren’t wiping down equipment previously used by other patients. This made her uncomfortable to fully participate in her sessions. She also would be taken to therapy in a wheelchair and had to wait over 20 minutes before being approached by a therapist. There would be quite a number of patients in the gym without enough therapists to give quality treatment. When she questioned this, she was told that they are short staffed. A rehab should feel clean, energizing, bright and encouraging but unfortunately, The Manor felt quite the opposite. Very soon after experiencing this, I had my mother transferred to another provider. The nurses/aides were really nice and helpful.
