My dad has been a resident for almost two years. The facility is always clean and my father is well taken care of. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, and supportive in so many ways.

No personal care. Not good medication management at all. They note daily activities-Not true. Ad says cable TV-No cable TV. Nobody in office on weekends for emergencies. Very poor communication between staff and Elizabeth, April or Dan. My husband fell four times and nobody in the office knew about it. There was blood on the wall two different times and family cleaned it each time when we would come in. No accident form was ever filled out. Office didn't know about it until I told them. Never enough staff especially on weekends. Meals are rarely on time and no dessert half the time. Beds not changed regularly. Family member changed the bed one time, blood stained. They claim "daily" housecleaning. That is not true. The common area (living room) furniture and floor is filthy. The furniture hasn't been dusted in the six months we were there. When I brought it up about the floor they had somebody come in and wash the floor. Shouldn't one of the owners or office staff inspect at least weekly? It's unsanitary. Most of the furniture in the living room and activity room is torn and filthy and sticky, along with the tables. The toilet in his room was clogged for three days while office staff were off and I finally called and talked to April who came down and cleaned it. Disgusting and unsanitary, to say the least. I could go on with more but I'm sure you got the message. Needless to say, we did not get our money's worth. There is NO activities at all on weekends. When Activity person is absent and there is no substitute, then have the office staff pitch in. We're paying for that for our loved ones. I would not recommend MRAL at all. Always excuses.... PS: The pictures in the ads (inside and out) must be from when it was new because it does not look like that now....

Great place for my grandmother. Love how its family own and run. Dan and Elizabeth help with anything we need. Nursing on site and they feed her 3 square meals a day (and the foods pretty good from what I've had). Visitation was hard with covid but they did their best once it was allowed.

Mortified, when I spoke with April about sisters living conditions and she brought up that my sister is the lowest paying resident at the facility. Left there and put an emergency call into another facility. Sister will be removed from this hole in the wall immediately. Please visit this facility before putting your family member there. Filthy dirty facility. Poor treatment of residents. (Example. Yelling at my wheel chair bound sister, to stand up) Horrifying to say the least.

*7 year old sister has been in MRAL since May, 2015 and she is well cared for, food is good and the people are very kind and sympathetic. We are so pleased with the service, cleanliness of the place and the personnel who care for her. Owners and administration are easy to work with and always available. I would recommend this place to anyone. Lou Perry and Shirley Ballinger
