This facility didn’t seem to care much about my parents needs when they stayed a few months for rehab. Getting into the place for visits was difficult. They had a bell but not sure if it didn’t work or if staff just ignored it. Some of the staff were very grumpy and acted like they didn’t want to be bothered. Maybe they were short staffed but I would never allow a family member to be admitted there after the bad experience I witnessed.

My father has been there for going on two weeks and is back in the hospital due to them not believing me and saying his chf was getting worse and was holding fluid they kept saying oh that's normal for his condition. When he got to the hospital he was in fluid overload and had a stage 2 pressure ulcer where they wouldn't even give him a pillow to sit on or a chair for his room. The one nurse Remey is wonderful she tries to do what she can and listens to the families but the charge nurse for the magnolia hall does not listen or care for the patients at all. Please advocate for your loved ones and just don't listen or settle to someone who doesn't know them.

Great team and care. The facility is very nice and staff are pleasant. The facility feels like home. My friend was a resident here and she really enjoyed her stay.

Every time I am on the phone with my brother, I sit and listen to him beg for help - for a long time. I have to call the facility directly and ask them to help my brother. Now every time I go in to see him, hes extremely thirsty. I have to buy and bring in drinks to quench his thirst. The neglect is getting more and more concerning. I will be calling the Dept. of Health and Human Services, especially since one of the head nurses has gotten angry both times Ive tried to discuss his care. And nurses act like they don't have a single clue what's going on. They have him heavily sedated and stuck in a corner, he has been staring at the wall for days on end. They were feeding him Oxycotin 10s 4 times a day. Shoveling narcotics into him when his vital signs were already low. Waking him up from a sedative state to give him more! He was showing ALL signs of being overdosed but they swear they dont know why! They were pushing to put a 52 year old man in hospice after slowly, chemically shutting him down for 2 weeks!! People that do this should be tried for attempted murder. UPDATE: We had him brought to the hospital where he was taken off extreme sedatives, which meant he was taken off oxygen. His vital signs bumped back up and he is waking up. The facility got irrate with his guardian when they were told he is requesting he be hospitalized. Because instead of him going into hospice TODAY like they wanted, they are being questioned for their neglect instead. Just a few hours of proper care in the hospital and I have my brother back. DO NOT ADMIT YOUR LOVES ONES HERE!!! I never want to be that person, but his whole family feels like they are trying to usher him out of this world! UPDATE #2: He was dehydrated for so long that he had a kidney infection, and an infection somewhere else in his body that they didnt know about. UPDATE #3: My brother has been in the hospital for a little over TWO WEEKS now, being treated for Magnolia Lane's neglect. Found out that Elaine lied to me when she stated my brother had been on Oxy for a long time. Recent doctors note shows it was recent, and coincides perfectly with the time he started shutting down.

I can not express enough how great this place has been for my family. I have had 3 family members there in 2 years. All the staff workers I have met have been like family to us. I don't know everyone's name and I'm so sorry but Chance has been totally Awesome and has helped us so much. The Therapy Dept is also totally Awesome. We were so Blessed to have found a place that we didn't have to worry about our loved ones. I still have a cousin there that broke his hip but he will be home soon .May God Bless each one of the staff members in this place and thank you for the love you show to each person in there everyday and the food my aunt said was the Best
