If I can give 100 negative stars I would. This place is the worst and they are properly caring for my aunt. They are not abiding by her strict diet and keep feeding her foods that is causing her to gain weight, they are horrible with wound care which happens to be their specialty, they did not follow up with her the promises they made for her at time of her admittance. For example they I formed my aunt that there would be representation who would help her with the MediCal process and they never follow up with it. If you can avoid this place do.it at all costs they are horrible.

My mom was at Magnolia Gardens for a few months, what a treasure this place is. The nurses and staff were amazing. My mom's nurse Maria, was a gem. Maris made my mom's stay there a positive and enjoyable experience. Maria went above and beyond, her love of her patients is pure. The PT staff was simply amazing as well. My mom was motivated to get up and get moving more and built up her strength. The activities they offered were plentiful and diverse. I'm so happy I found such a wonderful place for my mom to heal at. Would highly recommend.

1. I saw someone begging for help for over an hour, the staff ignored her. When I asked why they haven’t helped her they said she was crazy. 2. They called my grandmother crazy when she asked for help as well. 3. Visiting hours are TERRIBLE here, only leave a loved one here if you are able to visit during 9-5 working hours which is 1% of the population.

My Mom is a resident here. It is hard when it is time to place a parent in a home that all family members agree with. I was so lucky to have the help of Niria and Fred. They answered all our questions and made my Mom feel welcome. Theresa in the office has been very helpful with all her paperwork. Everyone seems to do the best they can with all different conditions that are now apart of their dailey routines. Thank you for keeping my Mom safe and happy.

This place is the worst. Whenever I try to call my friend who's a patient there, it takes about 15 minutes to get anyone to answer. At the main call desk, they answer the phone and hang up without a word spoken - forcing you to call back. Then you hold on the line while a very loud canned recording reminds you how glad they are to hear from you - and you wait ... and wait ... until finally a human being picks up the call. When you ask them to connect you to the nurses station overseeing a patient - you wait another 5-10 minutes for someone to answer your call! And this is not the first time I've experienced this with Magnolia. I've been dealing with this phone call-in issue for over 3 years! I always dread having to call my dear friend who looks forward to hearing from me - because I know the hassle that awaits me. They never fail to disappoint. This home is the worst! If you're able to place your loved one in another home, do so. And the place always stinks of urine. A real low end place. It's a sad reminder if you're indigent, these are the places the state will warehouse you in. Shame on you Magnolia Gardens for reminding us of that reality.
