We have had the best experiance with Madison Health & Rehab. My mother has been there for a month recovering from surgery and the staff there has been above and beyond, helping her gain the streagth and mindset to get back home as soon as possible. Their communication and the information they have to give has helped us navigate throughout this time in our lives. We went in unsure and scared and are now leaving with friends.

There are so many things that I could say about Madison Health and Rehabilitation. It is an absolute wonderful facility. The staff is amazing. Jim the administrator is always there to help if you need it. Carrie, Deb, Ashley, and the nursing staff is excellent. The aids are always there when you need them to. Emily and Marion with activity's are always there for the residents. They are always trying to find something new for them to do. This year at their Halloween Trunk or Treat was amazing. To see the residents smiling as they got to hand out candy to those kids was wonderful. The housekeeping staff is amazing. Becky is always keep things up to par. The floors look wonderful. She is always there trying to help the residents with what they need. Brandon and Vernon in maintenance is always staying busy and keeping things fixed and always doing what they can. They go above and beyond. Dana, Savannah, and the other staff is wonderful to. I've only listed a few. But the staff is wonderful here. I would choose this place over any other place time and time again.

Madison Health & Rehab is a wonderful facility with excellent, trained nursing staff. My grandmother received great care during her stay. I can personally tell a difference in how well this facility is being maintained and I look forward to seeing the continuing upward stride this facility is making. The entire facility was always welcoming and helpful when visiting my grandmother. The cleanliness was a bonus to! This is truly a great asset to the community in Richmond. Thank you, Madison!

I have always heard bad things about this place but would always give the benefit of doubt. Staff overload poor management etc etc was probably the cause. My sis law was admitted on Friday afternoon for therapy do to loss of muscle because of a rare autoimmune disorder. By Monday afternoon she was admitted to the hospital for dehydration and high blood pressure. She laid in her own urine so long that she already has a rash. She was so dehydrated when she was admitted to the hospital that they had to use an ultrasound to find a vein. This is uncalled for!! This is ridiculous!! What about these ppl that have no family member to check on them to see if they are ok. What do they suffer at these places at the hands or lack of hands of these ppl. I realize your under paid or your under staffed but you took this job because you have compassion on ppl and you want to be a caregiver. Or that’s why you should have taken the job. Those ppl count on you daily to help to cherish to have empathy on. They don’t want to be there but many don’t have a choice. Many you are their only family. Put yourself in their shoes. Madison y’all can do better!!

So my grandfather is blind and can not eat or drink on his own. When I asked a nurse how often do they fees him or give him something to drink they said they don't have time to feed him. My grandfather has been in and out of hospital a few time for dehydration and infection due to not having his catheter changed.
