Called to ask if I could donate clothing that is vintage and still in amazing condition and the first girl who answered said she didn’t know when I asked to speak with a higher she got an attitude you should feel ashamed of yourself you should be there helping not being rude to those trying to donate things 😡

The facility has a light, open, friendly atmosphere. The staff is incredible on every way. We had to put my mother-in-law there this weekend. She was apprehensive but quickly became involved in the many activities they offer and I think she is as happy here as we could have hoped for.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. The residents are always happy and I'm proud to have my mom in that facility!! Big thank you to Billie and Stacy for the great care y'all show my mom. And DJ for the cna care u give her as well. She is very lucky and I feel better knowing that.

My grandmother has been at this nursing home for a couple of years now. This is not the most glamorous place as far as the accommodations, but the staff is straight from heaven! They are so caring and kind. Most places I have toured might have lovely, updated rooms and dining areas as well as social amenities but I have not found one yet where the staff comes anywhere close to the one here! If their interior/exterior matched the level of service they provide, it would look like a castle with elaborate murals on the ceilings, 5 star hotel bedrooms, michelin awarded chefs...etc. In other words, do not judge a book by its cover. Everyone on the staff here deserves free spa treatments, manicures, pedicures, massages, facials...you name it! They deserve to be treated like queens and kings and pampered for all of their hard work and kindness. I am so thankful that they take such good care of my grandmother and the other residents. I do hope they are able to update the place because they deserve to have their surroundings match the people who work here. They don't just treat the people they are taking care of like they are just doing their job, they treat them like family.

I absolutely love this place. My Dad has Alzheimer's and dementia. My dad was in Country Meadows in Corsicana and I could see how miserable he was. Constantly falling, not eating, having to go to the ER every few days. Then he came here to Mabank Nursing Home and what a difference. He smiles more, the staff is constantly looking in on him, joking with him, laughing. The care is by far the best. They genuinely care and it shows. Everyone their is God sent. Thank you for taking care of my Dad❤
