My mother was exceedingly well cared for at LuAnn's Place for the past 5.5 years. The care team and LuAnn were outstanding. It's a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood. We feel so lucky and blessed that our mom was so well cared for in her final years. She was very happy at LuAnn's Place.

LuAnn’s place was a godsend for our family! When Dad passed away as the Covid lock down began, we needed to make a quick decision regarding Mom’s long term health care needs. LuAnn and her staff walked us through the process then as well as through her entire stay - they were responsive when answering our questions, consistently met Mom’s needs and patiently educated us along the way! In fact, the staff went out of their way to make Mom feel at home. LuAnn and her staff knew that Mom loved doing puzzles, playing the piano and making craft projects. LuAnn provided a space for Mom’s puzzles, brought a keyboard into the residence and provided many art experiences for all their “ladies”. Mom also loved playing cards and the staff and other residents played with her regularly! During our 3+ year journey, LuAnn’s Place truly became a home for Mom and we all felt so blessed! LuAnn and her staff treated Mom with respect and dignity and showed love and compassion in every decision made on her behalf. Communication with our family was timely and Mom’s health and safety was of primary concern. The staff always honored Mom and the decisions we made on her behalf. Mom was able to live out her life in comfort at LuAnn’s after entering hospice. Our family will be forever grateful for the warm and nurturing environment found at LuAnn’s Place, especially during those final days together. We can’t imagine a more caring and safe setting for a loved one to live!

We did an extensive search of different care facilities and group homes that could meet my mother’s needs. Once we discovered LuAnn’s Place we knew the search was complete. The consistent love and care provided by LuAnn and her team of caregivers spoke to my mother’s emotional as well as physical needs, creating a warm sense of belongingness. LuAnn’s Place is more than a residence; it is truly a home in every sense of the word. We couldn’t have imagined a better place for my mom to live, and sincerely encourage you to consider LuAnn’s Place for your loved one.

My mother had been living in a large assisted living facility, which worked for her for several years, but as she aged and her balance and strength waned it was clear she was becoming more isolated. We moved her to LuAnn's Place and she thrived there. She was always with other residents during the day, and the staff were very attentive to her many needs. It was more like a family that an assisted living site, and I only wish we had found Luann's earlier. My mother told us several times how much she liked it there. She eventually went into hospice there, and again the staff and LuAnn were supportive and helpful to the utmost. It is a very caring place.

Recently, we had to make a difficult decision to move my mom from her apartment to a place where there was someone immediately available if she needed help. As a nurse, I have high expectations for the clinical care given to my family and Luann's Place is experienced, competent and provides excellent care. But, it is the compassion, love and dignity that they display that has made me so thankful to have found such a wonderful place for my mom. I just wish we would have done this sooner!
