I appreciate the Life Care facility and staff for allowing us to share Bible truths to the residents by means of our Public Bible Talks via zoom Sunday mornings at 10 am on the second floor dining room. This provision offers the message from God’s Word to all and how it can truly benefit us today as well as give us a better hope in the future.

My mother lived at this facility for two years and wore her wedding ring every single day during her stay. After she passed away, I asked staff about the ring and was told they had never seen it. I even provided photos clearly showing her wearing the ring while in their care, yet the response was simply, “Sorry, we don’t have it.” This is completely unacceptable. A sentimental and irreplaceable item disappeared while my mother was under their supervision, and no accountability or concern was shown. Families trust facilities like this to care for their loved ones and their belongings with dignity and respect. I strongly encourage anyone considering this place for a family member to consider other facilities carefully before doing so. No family should have to experience something like this during an already heartbreaking time.

My father was very well cared for at Life Care Center of Hilo. The staff treated him and his family like ohana. They went above and beyond to ensure Dad's care and emotional needs were satisfied and communicated clearly, frequently and compassionately with our family. Dad's health and mobility improved markedly at Life Care Center of Hilo much to the relief of his family. Big hugs and kudos to your the LCC Hilo team. Mahalo nui loa!

My mom is at Life Care Center Of Hilo. She is in a great nursing home. The place is very clean and the workers are very pleasant to the patients and their family. Social Services have worked with me to meet the needs of my mother.

Dad is well cared for at Life Care. Very generous visiting policy that allows for multiple visitors, both friends and family to spend time with him and to bring in outside food. I feel welcome when I come to visit him. He gets to keep his phone, snacks and belongings at bedside. Appreciate that they have a separate floor for patients needing a secured unit, rather than subjecting him to heavy restrictions and intrusive peers.
