The place seems well kept up and clean. Our friend was eating lunch when we arrived and the food looked delicious! It looked like a lunch I myself would have very much enjoyed! I'm happy to see my friend being well cared for.

My sweet mom was in Life Care Center in Lecanto for 3 days shy of 1 year. We LOVED her time there. The atmosphere is great: clean, inviting and full of activities, if that is what you want to do, but I can not say enough good about the people! I was able to be there all the time and see how they all interacted with the residents, with each other and with visitors. I do not recall a bad experience in all the time I was there, that was not addressed immediately, and those experiences were few and far between. Communication, when I was unable to be there, was great and any dietary concerns were addressed by the Speech Therapist and the Dietician and myself quickly. The nurses and CNAs were pleasant and cheerful, most times, and as busy as they were stayed professional and caring. Sadly, my mom passed away recently but she and our family was so well supported by everyone at Life Care. I would recommend (and have) that anyone looking for a caring facility for a loved one to look into Life Care of Citrus County. I will miss seeing these wonderful people... Debbie Ryan
