This facility is very understaffed and mismanaged. Patient care is far from a priority. There is a book as thick as a dictionary of excuses for every question proposed to to the staff.

I would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing assisted care and/or rehab. Great staff and awesome therapists. The care and attention paid to my wife excellent!

I gave a lot of thought before posting this review. In my experience, this facility is not well suited for short-term physical therapy patients like myself and appears to be better designed for those needing longer-term care. From day one, things were not in place. Equipment and medications were not ready upon arrival, which made for a difficult and discouraging start. I also had to wait about 24 hours for an evaluation to confirm equipment needs that had already been communicated by the hospital. Medication timing was another ongoing issue. Evening medications often required repeated requests, and there were multiple nights when I didn’t receive them until 10 or 11 PM, despite needing them earlier to properly manage pain and sleep. Even simple requests, like Tylenol, could take 45 minutes or more to be fulfilled, which was especially challenging when in pain. The discharge process also raised concerns. Equipment ordered for my continued care at home was significantly delayed and ultimately incorrect. There was no post-discharge follow-up to ensure a safe or smooth transition. That said, for residents needing longer-term care, there were positives. I appreciated seeing a variety of daily activities offered, caring activity coordinators, and even visits from therapy dogs, which brought moments of comfort and connection. Regardless of whether someone is there for short-term rehab (which I would not recommend) or long-term care, I strongly recommend having a dedicated advocate—someone who can visit regularly, ask questions, and help ensure needs are being met. Ultimately, any facility comes down to its people. There are staff members here who genuinely care, and it shows. Others, unfortunately, seem more focused on getting through their shift. That difference can significantly impact the overall experience.

They took good care of my grandma while she was recovering from a stroke. Her room was always clean and tidy. The nursing staff always made sure to open and close her curtain/ blinds at sunrise and sunset , which was important to my grams. The staff was always very welcoming when we visited often.
