When I first went into Lemont Nursing home I was in a FOG and couldn’t do much by myself. But with the help of several of the staff I was able to move from a wheel chair to being able to walk by myself without a walker but it didn’t happen overnight it took several weeks of therapy before that happened. I am very thankful for the help of all of the people I encountered and want to thank them for getting me through a Very Difficult time (Mothers Day Pic enjoying family time)!
I want to recognize many of the people I remember that had a positive impact to my getting better…they are; Alyea, Ryan, Lamar, Markita, Katie and Mia and Special thanks to Mark – my speech therapists Sonia and Monica – my physical therapists Angie, Candice, Jill, Gia and Cinderella – Dr Singh and nurse practitioners Amy and Donna.

Hopefully I remembered all of the people that helped me but if not my sincere thanks for everyone that helped!

A family member stayed here for about 2 months. The head nurse had terrible bedside, and disregarded concerns of patients and flat out told me she didn't say things I clearly heard her say the day before. There were also a few CNAs that seemed irritated they had things to do. The food also seems to not get enough of a buget, but they do seem to try. However I still give a good rating. The assistant director of nursing, Mark, is very caring. I went to him with complaints and compliments and he listened and asked good questions and followed up with his team and our medical concerns. He made my family member feel seen and heard. I hope he is soon directing and the head nurse is working somewhere she is better suited. The activities team check in with the patients and provide several social events a day. My family member had a lot of fun, especially at BINGO. Our primary reason to have our family member there was physical therapy, and there is not a weak link in that team! They push the patients hard while also listening and helping through struggles, let them stop when they hit their limit. They are huge cheerleaders for the most difficult patients. My family member arrived struggling to stand on his own, he's walking out of here with a walker and the knowledge to keep progressing at home. He worked the most with Gia and Jill. He also worked with Cindy, Candice, and Angie, and I hope I am not forgetting anyone. The whole team is really appreciated!

This is absolutely the worst place ever. Please do not place a loved one here. My mother was here for a short time and I had to get her out. The rooms are filthy, the linens do not get changed, patients not washed, nursing care is horrendous. The meals are the absolute worst, looks like prison food with dirty utensils and cups. The State of Illinois definitely needs to inspect this facility. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place sucks!!

This nursing home gave my wife the wrong medication that dropped her blood pressure down to a dangerous level why my wife was feeling sick from the wrong medication that they gave her I immediately called 911 once 911 got there the young lady at the front that's wanted to argue with the paramedic lady because the paramedic lady was asking her could you please bring out the paperwork that we need so we can rush her to the ER instead of them doing that and giving the proper paperwork that the paramedic lady need it the young lady tried to argue with her which created a lot of confusion in the midst of them getting my wife to the emergency room they also still have my wife as if she is receiving their services when we never went back because of what they did to my wife when I do try to contact them they answer and play a game with me and always tell me that social workers are busy and they hang up own me truth of the matter that will be looked into is they are collecting funds and finances from people who are not even there at their facility receiving services we'll have our attorneys look into this matter ASAP
