I was a patient at the Garland facility for Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy and had great improvement during my 25 day stay. I can not say enough positive and kind things about their Therapists, RN’s and healthcare workers. ALL of them showed that they truly cared about my overall improvement. If you are in need of quality care, this is your place!!

Kindness and expertise don't always work hand in hand. But at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Garland that's exactly what happens. I'm recovering from major spinal surgery, and both the therapy and nursing staffs are working with me to help me regain my health at the age of 78 (almost 79). Not an easy task. My physical therapist is having me do gentle exercises that are progressively becoming more and more advanced. We are working on both muscle and nerve therapy. He's considering every aspect of my life including the terrain where I'll have to be walking as I live outside the city. He is very knowledgeable and considers not only muscle development but nerve damage as well. He keeps my mind occupied while I'm working hard with gentle and quick witted conversation. He listens to me when I tell him my concerns and developments in my healing. At the same time he is so kind and never rushes me or pushes me too far. He keeps things lighthearted, and that helps so much. My occupational therapist is really tuning in to my every day needs, especially in my house. Since I can no longer bend, lift, or twist she is helping me learn new skills so I can live independently as much as possible. She is very engaging and makes the work as enjoyable as possible. She is so considerate and kind...and fun. Every member of the nursing staff greets me with a smile and a kind word 24 hours a day. They not only fulfill doctor's orders. They are the ones who are truly bringing back (nursing) my good health by listening to my questions and helping me with everything I'm needing in order to get well. They work long hours but their good moods and kindness never wain. Each one of them makes me feel like I'm the only patient they are caring for. And I watch them treat every other patient the same way. Each one is so knowledgeable and kind. The other staff members are just as kind as well. Many of them have learned my name, visit with me, and share their stories with me while asking me about my life and family as well. I know they are busy and have things to do but they take the time and make the effort to be kind to me. As much as I want to go home and complete my recovery there I will miss each member of the staff at Legend Oaks when I leave, all of the expert care they have given me, their sweet personalities, and the gentle kindness each one has shown me. This skilled nursing facility in Garland, TX consistently provides a CLEAN, WELCOMING, and SUPPORTIVE environment. The team works hard to ensure residents feel comfortable while receiving the care they need. Not only that, they feel like family in the way that they interact with one another and treat the residents. I can’t think of another facility that creates an atmosphere such as that of Legend Oaks Garland. The short term rehabilitation services are EXCELLENT, and the physical therapy team does a great job helping residents build strength, mobility, and confidence during recovery. The therapists are knowledgeable, encouraging, and focused on helping people reach their goals. For anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility in Garland, TX that also offers quality short term rehabilitation and strong physical therapy services, this is a GREAT option.

I just wanted to share how thankful our family is for the admissions director and the staff for the way they helped my grandmother. From the first day, the admissions director was very kind, patient, and professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process feel much less stressful for us. It really meant a lot to see my grandma being treated with respect and care. The environment felt welcoming, and the staff always seemed attentive to her needs. Knowing she was in a clean and supportive place gave our family peace of mind during a difficult time. We truly appreciate the effort and compassion shown to her. Thank you for helping make this transition easier and for taking good care of my grandmother. I would recommend this facility to other families who want their loved ones to feel safe and valued.

I recently had a family member at Legend Oaks for rehab and we were very pleased with the care. The transition from the hospital was smooth, and the nursing staff was attentive to my loved one's specific needs. A special shout-out to Arvilla for going above and beyond. It’s a clean, professional environment where we felt our family member was safe and well-cared for.
