Don’t get fool because of the name Legend oak, to me it is Hell oak , I was a patient here in May 26 , about 3 weeks, most of worker very nice on their face but their service terrible, when I call for changing diapers, take long time for them to come, finally, someone toss help remote control on the floor, so I can’t use it, about therapy they don’t walk me like schedule, about the food, look like TV dinner, the fruit never fresh, look like from can fruits, I can’t stand any more, I tell my husband take me home ,even Staffing warned me they not responsibly, since I leave early.

I was a patient at the Garland facility for Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy and had great improvement during my 25 day stay. I can not say enough positive and kind things about their Therapists, RN’s and healthcare workers. ALL of them showed that they truly cared about my overall improvement. If you are in need of quality care, this is your place!!

This place is better compared to the facility my brother came from. A few of the complaints that I have for this facility is that one the nurses gave my brother his meds through his feeding and changed the feeding tube dressing without putting on gloves. Also, the nurse gave his insulin shot without rubbing the skin with alcohol and once again without gloves. He just got over MRSA in his feeding tube a few months ago. A nosocomial infection can run rapid without proper hand washing and PPE. I didn’t see anyone using hand sanitizer. I believe the hand sanitizer might be on the nurses cart. There should be hand sanitizer available/attached to the wall either outside the patient’s door or inside the wall by the door. Also, my brother has a graft/fistula in his arm for dialysis. I had to asked for a sign to be posted on the wall above his bed saying, “No sticks or BP in the left arm. “ The nurses didn’t seem to thrill about putting up the sign, but I think it’s very important for a patient to have a sign posted, so it won’t mess up their access to dialysis. I ended up posting the sign myself. He seems to be doing a lot better compared to a few months ago. Everyone has been nice though.
