Lassell House was a welcome improvement from the Hospital after my Father had Knee Replacement surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess. The charge nurse, Martin, helped prioritize my Father's care needs and the impact on his recovery was immediate and significant. The staff is dilligent and caring. I couldn't hope for a better facility to guide our recovery.

The team at Lasell House are amazing! From the time of my mother’s admission and working with Marie until her discharge my family and I were so pleased with everyone. Everyone treated my mom so great. She especially loved being engaged with the activities, the activities team are so friendly and fun! Mom always had a smile on her face. Thank you to everyone for your kindness!

I spent a week in rehab after emergency hip replacement surgery at Lasell House. Three marvelous members of the administration greeted and checked in on me several times during my stay: the director of Lasell House, the director of nursing and the director of admissions. They were wonderful in making me feel welcome. The nursing staff, especially the day shift, is truly outstanding and I need to mention the hard-working RNs: Martin, Ed, Moses and Elizabeth – they were amazing and such lovely people. Two of the CNAs were also outstanding: Mark and Jessica – they were so kind and helpful. I also noticed the great care and attention the two of them gave to the other patients. The PT and OT departments are wonderful and live up to their already stellar reputation. I am so thankful to each one of them for the time and caring work they did with me. I made very quick progress because of them and was able to return to my home a week earlier than planned. I would also like to mention the superb food service. Lasell is a place where no one can complain about the quality or the preparation of the food – the food is served at an excellent temperature and the quality of the products, and the care given to the preparation of meals are outstanding. The chef’s entrée of grilled shrimp on a bed of wilted spinach rivals that of any of Boston’s finest restaurants! My room was lovely, and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job keeping the entire place immaculate. I feel incredibly grateful that I was able to have my rehab at Lasell House - I am only sorry there is no way to give them a 10-star rating, which they truly deserve!

I was here for two weeks and cannot think of enough good things to say about Lasell House. The staff is caring, professional, responsive, and they make your recovery a pleasant experience. The rooms and common areas are clean, and the staff at all levels perform their jobs with attention to detail. It is clear that the training of staff is very thorough. There is always someone asking to see if you are comfortable or need anything. The food is very good, not one poor meal the entire time I was there. I wish I could give a six star rating.

My husband, at 93 years of age, had the good fortune of being admitted to Lasell House after undergoing hip fracture surgery. Not only is the facility lovely, modern, clean and cheerful, but more importantly the staff was wonderful. OT Patrick Geraghty, PT Jackie Firenze, Speech Therapist Caitlin, Nurses Ed, Ed and Martin, and Social Worker Carolyn Sheppard, are all deserving of special mention for their professional, kind and dedicated care. Every question we had was answered, and they did all they could to honor any request we had. Communication from the staff was timely and unambiguous. After three weeks my husband was able to come home, in very good shape thanks to the excellent care he received at Lasell House. If we ever needed rehab again in our family, I wouldn't hesitate to request a stay at Lasell House.
