My mother received exceptional care from all of the staff. They were always kind, answered all of my questions and treated my mother with the utmost respect I was planning on looking at several facilities for my mother. The minute I walked in, I told Tony my mother had found her new home. There was no reason to look any further

Three months now at the Pines memory care unit and it is working well for my wife. It is a small, intimate facility and the staff understands and cares about the patients. I see their efforts every day doing their best at sometimes difficult care. As a bonus, the meals are great. I had a few complaints and the staff and admin did their best to addressed them. Yes I would recommend the Pines memory care. Mike Higgins

Tony and staff met us in the lobby with a smile and a handshake! All explained their roles and welcomed us to the facility From the moment we walked in, I felt a sense of calmness and peace knowing this is the best place for our father The facility has a “home like” feel, is exceptionally clean and nicely decorated I asked the kitchen manager for a copy of the menu and was impresssed with the selections! Tony was friendly, easy to talk to and took a long time to explain the contract to us and made sure that all of our questions were answered He gave us a full tour of the building and let us choose the perfect room for our Dad I worked in Healthcare for 40 years and know a good place when I see it!! I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends I told my brother that I want to come here when that time comes for me :)

Having to utilize assisted living placement for clients can sometimes be challenging. The Pines of Lapeer, now Comfort Care, has made the process easy and less anxious for families. If you are seeking a clean and well maintained environment, one that is peaceful, caters to your loved ones needs, and has high standards of care then you've chosen the right home for yourself or a family member. The cost is affordable and much less than competitors who do not come close to the quality of care or facility inclusions. I highly recommend this facility.

My first experience with them was when I stopped in unannounced to ask questions. The whole staff was very helpful and friendly, I was given a tour of the facility, and all my questions were answered. I had worked at a nursing home for years and noticed immediately that there was no smell, always a good sign. I have been kept up to date on all of my sister's care needs and am very happy with the facility.
