Update 5/23/2025 Management seems to listen and respond. New maintenance and directing staff have been added. They have been actively addressing the issues the former maintenance left them. Increase by one star. Would like to see some longevity now. The new staff planning sounds better. Older reviews: Prior to the new management, Ivy Terrace was a wonderful facility! They had a friendly, flexible staff who truly cared about your loved ones and their needs. I continue to hear of staff changes and maintainence issues while rent continues to increase. This has forced me to change my recommendation and rating. Hopefully, this catches the attention of the ownship because I believe these small issues could be turned around to make it an attractive option. Definitely don't raise rent unless there is some value added to the current tenants. It's not a good way to attract new ones, that's for sure! Family environment in a small town that isn't too busy or far away from extended family in the suburbs. Brand new with modern European design.

We love Ivy Terrace in Lapeer. They are a family friendly community with many activities and amnesties to keep us busy. We love the movies and games each week. My husband has almost completed 60 puzzles since we moved here in Nov 2022! I’m thinking he’s going for a record! With shopping, beautiful sunrises on the pond, wildlife, parks, restaurants, doctors and hospital nearby Ivy Terrace is an ideal home for independent seniors 💜 we love our Ivy Terrace family members most especially our Director Jeanette and her family and our cook (we like to call him our chef), Pete and his family. Thank you all for making our golden years so special and memorable! Not to mention catering to all our needs💞H&B Jones
