We moved our 96 year old mother to the Lakewood Courtyard about a year ago. Her room is lovely, with pictures of family members all over. The cleaning staff helps keep the room quite clean.<br><br>The nurses are very attentive and kind to our mother. They greet her warmly at each encounter. Her medication is very well monitored, the communication with our family is prompt, if something needs adjusting. The physical therapy department is equally wonderful and competent.<br><br>Our mother has made several new friends at the Lakewood Courtyard. They seek each other out and look out for one another.<br>Many have shared interests with similar backgrounds and; I have to say it’s nice to see our mother form new friendships at her age.<br>The activities are truly amazing, diverse, with something for everyone, games, challa baking, great and interesting lectures, music, concerts, exercise, manicures, probably more that I’m not aware of.<br><br>There are good choices of delicious food at each meal.<br>The staff in general has been kind and warm to our mother.<br><br>The care and concern of the staff has exceeded our expectations.<br>Our mother’s time at the Lakewood Courtyard has been excellent.<br>It was a very good decision for our mother and us.

I only added 4 stars because of the way the nursing staff talks to people. Other than that it’s an amazing place very quiet, clean and peaceful. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lakewood Courtyard. It is truly one of the nicest and most caring assisted living facilities. From the moment my parents arrived, they were treated with kindness, compassion, and respect.<br><br>A special thank you to Jessica, who went above and beyond to make their transition as smooth and comforting as possible. Her patience, warmth, and genuine care made all the difference during what could have been a stressful time. We are so grateful for everything she did to help my parents feel welcomed and supported.<br><br>Thank you, Jessica, and the entire Lakewood Courtyard team, for providing such exceptional care.
