My Mom spent her last 9 years here. She was so happy; she did not worry about her furnace, cooking meals, cleaning, no more worries. She had her own space when she needed it and could be with others when she chose. Best part was her oldest brother lived across the street. We could visit whenever we chose and she could leave for family events or to go out to dinner or visiting friends and family.
