Moving to a place like John Knox Village is a major decision financially as well as mentally and health wise. It was my experience that when making my decision I felt that I was in good hands with Eddie. He genuinely cared about my wellbeing as he is compassionate and empathetic. He answered every question and was supportive in understanding any of my challenges and concerns. I was grateful for his kindness in helping guide me through the process and my eventual moving in.

I moved to John Knox Village in March of 2026. It has been wonderful from the first day Eddie Thipphavong took me around to look at the place. He sat down and explained what they offer, and boy was he right! From wonderful food in the dining rooms to friendly and helpful people that work here. I recently had a small medical procedure that prevented me from driving for several days and transportation was there to drive everywhere I needed to go and the drivers were always attentive, on time, and friendly. All staff I have run into from maintenance, the girls that come and clean my cottage ever other week, the servers and everyone that works in all of the dinning rooms to drivers, and medical and PT folks I have interacted with have always been wonderful. The grounds are kept so you kind of feel like you are in a beautiful park.<br><br>Eddie did not over sell this place and he was easy to work with and paid attention to my wants and needs afar as a unit that I would be happy with and could comfortably afford.

After touring 18 different retirement communities in several states, we chose John Knox Village as it was far superior in all areas. Retirement Counselor Eddie Thipphavong gave us a great tour of the facility, helped us with the initial applications, kept us informed as to where we were on the waiting list, and then patiently worked with us through the induction forms. You will not find a kinder, harder worker than Eddie. We had so many questions, but Eddie’s patient professionalism handled each one. VP of Sales and Marketing Tami Ozut and Sales and Marketing Staff member Hanna Bailey helped us understand the move in process and decide what customizations we could do on our unit. They also suggested a moving agent that walked with us through our current house to confirm what would fit in our new residence and who managed the actual move. We are thrilled with living at JKV and are so impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of all the management and staff. We immediately felt at home, and we are very much enjoying getting to know the residents.

Eddie Thipphavong helped my wife and me to see and understand John Knox Village. His knowledge and, for us, patience as we considered the change in lifestyle the Village offered, was excellent. He was always "there" to answer questions with a no pressure approach. Thanks, Eddie!

We just experienced an informative orientation and tour of John Knox Village of Central Florida. Retirement Counselor Liz Woodford explained with crystal clarity all of the benefits, services, care and activities that are included and available for residents in the Village. She escorted us all around the massive pristine campus showing us the activities and fitness centers, restaurants, care facilities, and beautifully manicured greenspaces and lakes. We also examined some of the available apartments and homes. It was an eye-opening experience for us. We are seriously considering John Knox Village to be our retirement community of choice.
