Really saddened by the lack of empathy with the staff. I was driving by today and saw a lady that had fallen in one of their streets. So I pulled around and helped her get up and into her place. I went into the Grand to let them know in case they needed to check on her and I was told to tell someone else. Not to mention this was a group of probably 6 employees. Definitely won't let anyone in my family be under their care.

Very unprofessional, very rude, very dirty! My dad actually got hurt, they don't communicate, and the nurses were gossiping.

My dad is in the memory care unit at John Ganton's Countryside Retirement Community. (I see there's more than 1 Ganton so not to be confused with Lloyd Ganton's). I have been very impressed with my dad's care. The place is clean. My dad always looks clean. The food seems good. The staff seem to really care. Thank you to all who help care for my dad!

My mother was sent there for a short rehab (21 days) Everyone there were super polite and courteous, very helpful and compassionate. Her health declined quickly and was unable to continue therapy as usual but they worked with her as best they could. Sadly she went downhill quickly and needed the utmost care and eventually passed away. No one neglected her or treated her without respect. Our family was very happy with our experience there.

If possible I would give them a negative number. I would NEVER have a loved one live at one of John Ganton's facilities. First of all they make promises and make everything seem as they truly care for your loved one. I am here to say that is the complete opposite. My mother was in the Assisted Living at the Manor for a short time. I began to notice changes with my mother, which I brought to the attention of the staff at the Manor. After no return calls from the management or nursing staff, I had to have my mother transported by ambulance and spent a week in the hospital due to the neglect of the staff at John Ganton's Manor. So please, think twice before placing your loved one in facility that truly does not assist your loved ones needs.
