Our family loved Brightside and the care they provided for my mother. To medication changes to other medical care she might need they called or talked to us when we visited. They were proactive about her care. They followed a very good hygiene plan to keep her clean. The staff were all helpful and personable. They have planned activities of all types and try to involve all even when the residents do not understand during memory loss. They are patient and caring to all. We cried the day we moved her out because it was like leaving part of our family. The nurses have took the time to check on her even after she had to be moved to another facility for financial reasons. We would place her back in this home in a heartbeat if we could afford it.

My mom gets excellent care here. I have spent hours and hours there and I love how well the staff are well educated about dementia and they communicate love and caring to the residents. Ashley (activity director) is so great at communicating what is happening in the center and she has a positive demeanor all around. The Brightside director, Meaghan, is communicative and is quick to return calls is there is a concern or even if I just want to see how my mom is getting along. I highly recommend this memory care center.

Highly recommend. Brightside cared for my mother like she was family. Many of the leadership staff have served there since it was opened, which is a big endorsement in a healthcare facility. They are knowledgable, kind and caring. They communicated well with our family throughout her time there. The facility is built specifically for memory care, and it is a thoughtful and pleasant space that provides room for clients to move about safely. They engage the residents all day long with appropriate activities and it gave my mom true quality of life when she resided there. We did a thorough search in the area before we chose Brightside and are so grateful we did. It was a wonderful place for her to spend her final years.

In 2017, my mother was one of the first patients to reside at Brightside. We took a chance because Brightside was new and so was the staff. Mom had previously lived at Countryside Grande so we felt somewhat confident that she would be well cared for at Brightside and we weren't disappointed. Mom lived at Brightside for 6 years and over time needed more care. The staff treated her like she was their Mom with the kind of care and compassion that we all hope for as one approaches the end of life. From my observation the residents were all treated the same way with dignity and respect. When Mom passed the staff used a lot of Kleenex too and that was one of the many reasons I appreciated them so much. -Phil Hoffman
