We found ourselves emotionally and financially drained as we searched for professional, compassionate care for our family member. We were so disheartened. Thankfully, we were introduced to the idea of hospice and Interim Healthcare. Our loved one received the most TLC he had received in years, throughout his journey. He was placed in hospice, in a group house setting. There were only eight patients in the house. He received one on one care , 24/7 at a cost that finally stopped draining us and he had his own room. The caretakers, hospice nurses, and owner were available 24 seven and were constantly in touch. On his first day, upon arrival from a traditional nursing home, we received a phone call saying he had a shower, shave, drank an entire juice and ate an entire cup of yogurt. This was quite incredible. They then sent a photo of him in a bed with cozy, fluffy blankets next to a big picture window. I think that was the first time he had seen the sunshine in quite a while. They also played his favorite country music on Alexa. We visited and could see he was the most at ease he had been in years. He felt pampered, safe, secure and loved. He truly was at peace. When the time came, I requested a priest. He was there almost immediately. These people are angels, and I would literally trust them with my life.

Shannon was truly a godsend. From our first meeting she put us at ease. Through every moment she cared for us as if we were family. Her genuine concern, compassion, and skillful guidance through difficult decisions proved essential. She maintained close contact with us daily and ensured nursing, medications, equipment, and other resources were promptly available. The entire Interim team was tremendous and are highly recommended. We will always be grateful. God bless you all.

I cannot recommend Interim highly enough if you have a loved one in need of hospice care. I said it after my first interaction with them during intake, and it held true throughout the time they helped my father at the end of his life: if all healthcare operated the way Interim does — the care, the responsiveness, the empathy, the thoroughness, the anticipation of needs — the US would have the best healthcare of any nation on earth. Truly one of the best companies I have ever had the privilege of working with, in any capacity, in any aspect of my life.

The absolute most precious people. They ensured we were prepared and informed about the process all while being so tender towards the difficultly of the season we were in. They were always available when we called and were so quick to help or answer any questions no matter what time of day or night it was. It felt like a relief when they stepped in to help with my grandmother to make sure she was comfortable. Thank you Interim 💜

My family and I cannot say enough good things about Interim Healthcare of Mandeville. During a difficult and emotional time, their entire team made the process smooth, compassionate, and professional from start to finish. A special thank you to Shannon, the marketer, who was absolutely phenomenal in helping guide us through the process for new admits. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and truly made us feel supported and cared for. I also want to recognize Lauren, the Manager of Volunteer Services. She goes above and beyond coordinating volunteers and ensuring patients and their families/loved ones receive necessities, comfort, and support during challenging times. Her compassion and dedication truly stand out. Stephanie also deserves special recognition. She is the one overseeing the entire office and staff, and she truly makes that place run. Her leadership, professionalism, and dedication are evident in every part of the organization. You can tell she genuinely cares about both the patients and the team providing the care. The nurses also deserve tremendous recognition. If it were not for them coming around the clock checking in on our loved one, we honestly would not know what to do. Their compassion, attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to be there day and night brought our family comfort and peace of mind during an incredibly hard time. The office staff as a whole has also been incredible. They are organized, responsive, caring, and do a fantastic job coordinating services to make everything efficient and stress-free for families. It is rare to find a healthcare organization where every person genuinely cares, but Interim Healthcare of Mandeville does exactly that.
