Recently being 54 I had to finally realize I needed to live in a Senior Facility due to physical disabilities. I finally decided it was time so I found Independence Village in Evansville which ended up making the best decision to move here. All the Staff are very friendly and supportive to me and my Chihuahua. I love it that they treat my dog like family too.<br>A couple weeks ago I realized that the facility checks on us residents to make sure we are doing ok. They called me one afternoon to find out where I was because I didn’t showed up for breakfast and told them I am just at sisters house. They had everyone looking for me.<br>Another thing I like about this place is that I had to be taken to the ER leaving my dog in my apartment so I asked Staff to check on my dog and take her out so Marissa, Forest and Bill came to my apartment and was very careful with her putting her on a leash and taking her for a walk. I really appreciate that because it makes me feel the staff is willing to go the extra mile to help us when needed
