From the very first day our Mother stepped foot into this place we knew we had made the right choice. The entire staff from the top down is simply amazing on all levels. They took such good care of our Mother while she stayed there recently. My Mom didn’t want to leave so that’s a good indication of how Ignite Batavia treats their residents!

I will give this new Batavia Illinois Ignite location an honest review. The staff is amazing. They are patient centered and inclusive and supportive of families. The PT staff is excellent and creative in the way they draw the most resistant patients to join in. The Front Desk staff is very attentive to families. The Nursing Staff rarely misses a pitch and cares for each patient. The menu is similar to a hospital with several choices a day. Patients can choose to eat in the dining room or in their rooms. Every person I had contact with regarding my Moms care honestly tried to meet her needs as she has many medical issues and food allergies. The Doctors on staff were so helpful and reacted quickly when she was in need of help. The ONLY place I wish they’d improve is communication between PT,Floor Nurses, and the kitchen staff. One area doesn’t seem to interact with the other. That can be frustrating but it’s a young building and they are really very good at the nuts and bolts of getting patients stronger and better. Please improve the phone system it’s pretty hard to get thru in the evenings.

I want to thank the staff at this location my mother-in-law is currently a patient at your facility. She is getting great care, physical therapy. The facility is very clean. The room is spacious. We are always greeted kindly when we go to visit daily. A shout out to CNA Thereza. My mother-in-law loves her. She goes above and beyond to take care of her, shows her trust and very friendly to her. She always looks forward to seeing her come in the room.

My 84 yr old mother-in-law came to this facility after having to go to the hospital from another facility just a bit north of Batavia. This place has been absolutely wonderful and there is no comparison to the last place. They actually do all the things the other facility "claimed" they would do. Every time we go to visit, the staff is always working. They have the patients up and dressed as much as possible. I believe they do some sort of physical, and/or occupational therapy every day. Every nurse/CNA that we have encountered has been fabulous. They seem to truly care about the patients/residents. All staff members from front desk to nurses to the social worker to the therapist has been so helpful, informative and kind. Kyla and Vonna have been working with my mother-in-law for the past week. Both women are extraordinarily patient, kind and caring. We know she is being well taken care and gives us peace of mind when we leave each night. I would highly recommend Ignite to anyone needing senior care/rehabilitation. They are the best in the area.

Amazing new Ignite facility. Lourdes, the Chief of Nursing and all the rest of the staff have been very supportive. Even when the transferring hospital screwed up, Lourdes and her team took care of my aunt and made her comfortable. The facility is very clean and the staff are friendly. My Aunt will be here for a few days so we hope to have the same care and have her recover soon.
