Ideal Home Care provides personal care services in Española, New Mexico, delivered in the comfort of clients' homes. The agency offers assistance with daily living activities for individuals who have difficulty performing these tasks due to age, illness, disability, or other conditions.

Services include temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing them time to rest or attend to other responsibilities. The agency also serves individuals with specific conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, chronic illness, post-surgical care, and assistance during recovery periods. These services are designed to maintain the independence, dignity, and quality of life of individuals who require assistance.

Ideal Home Care operates under two service models. The Consumer-Directed Model empowers individuals to choose their own caregivers, including family members or friends, and to decide how, when, and where services are provided. Consumers can modify their care plans as their needs and circumstances change. The Consumer-Delegated Model combines consumer direction with agency support, where Ideal Home Care selects caregivers with the consumer's approval, develops collaborative care plans, provides caregiver training, and conducts regular monitoring and evaluations to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Personal care services are available to those with Medicaid coverage through affiliated insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Molina Healthcare, Presbyterian Healthcare, and United Healthcare. Eligibility and approved weekly hours of assistance are determined through an in-home assessment scheduled by the insurance provider. Individuals without Medicaid may contact the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services to schedule a Medicaid waiver appointment.
