Sombrillo is one of the worst places to EVER leave your family members for care, they are understaffed because of poor management resulting in patients being left alone for hours on end, unsanitary living conditions especially in the midst of a global pandemic, multiple residents have not been properly monitored for their own saftey and have left the building unsupervised wandering into the neighboring retirement home parking lot. The D.O.N will put on a great show when families and the state come to visit but the rest of the time shes “busy” in her office. The CNAs do the best they are allowed to do in such awful working conditions. Such a shame.

Aspen Ridge has really gone downhill over the last year or so. I wish I had a choice for my parent's round-the-clock care.

Horrible, horrible, nursing home. Within the first night my padrino was left abandoned by staff. He feel off the bed and his arm was tangled in the rail bars, he was left like that for 2 1/2 hours before a nurse came in and found him. 2nd night he asked for toothpaste to clean his dentures and was given denture adhesive. 3rd night he waited for assistance to go to bathroom and never got it, he had a bowel movement in his bed and still waited more then an hour after that for assistance. They don't even deserve one star.
