Huntington Senior Citizens

Huntington Senior Citizens is a community program operated by the Town of Huntington, New York, serving independent seniors age 60 and older. The organization provides a social model Adult Day Care program for impaired elderly, along with caregiver support, respite care, home maintenance and repair assistance, home delivered meals, and in-home services through the Eisep program.

The community operates multiple locations, including the main Senior Center and the Senior Beach House, which overlooks Centerport Bay. Programs and activities are designed to foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and friendship among participants, with offerings that include social events, educational programs, volunteer opportunities, community clubs, and resource referrals.

At the Senior Beach House, seniors can enjoy a range of recreational activities such as independent art groups, cards and games, swimming, bocce, shuffleboard, kayaking, and exercise classes. The facility also offers pavilion rentals for events. The Senior Center operates as a Suffolk County Nutrition Site, providing meals and nutritional support to participants.
