I have been in wonderful nursing homes and in nursing homes that made me sick to my stomach. This nursing home is on the lowest list of low. The care is unimaginably poor. The food? There are times I’ve had to guess what something was. Even tasting it I couldn’t define what exactly it was. The director/administrator does the least amount possible. The staff can never answer a question because they don’t spend enough time with the residents. Hands down this is the worse nursing home I’ve ever entered. There are many issues with this facility. If you are searching for a facility for a loved one please keep searching. Don’t make this the last place your loved one enters. The best part of this facility? The hospice nurses who come and care for patients. Maybe some have no idea what a nursing facility should be. This is not and there is no way I would allow someone I love to be placed here.

They are a terrible nursing home. They wouldn’t allow me to get any information about my mother. They wouldn’t let me see her until her daughter in law said it was okay after I said I would talk to my lawyer. They was allowing the daughter in law to give away all the stuff and she never had power of attorney over my mother. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a dog.

Can't say enough about this place. They have had good caring & stable management for years. Their Director of Nursing also sits on the local hospital's board of directors and has a goal of reducing compounded prescriptions of new elderly arrivals so they won't be such a risk for blackouts, falls, etc. That's refreshing, compared to many other skilled nursing centers. Also they seem to bend over backwards to make sure new arrivals can settle in. Even let one person bring his recliner from home, and keep it near the nurse's desk for a while so he could get his sleep pattern straightened out. Have seen other such examples of flexibility in the 20+ years I've been visiting there.
