I just wanted to extend our thanks & appreciation for all the help Matthew gave us during this difficult time. During his last week, my son remained surrounded by his family and loved ones. I would also like you to know that you, your company and your staff, made the whole process much easier to bear and provided much needed help and peace of mind for him and his entire family. With much gratitude, The Family of Chris Valdez

(1) We first contacted Kris of Homewatch CareGivers in late March - just as the pandemic threw us into lock-down. We needed immediate care for our dying son when he was released from the hospital the next day. Homewatch was recommended by someone and we could not have been happier with the response, the care and the care-giver assign to us for the days left for our son. Not only our physical need was met by the wonderful lady who took care of our son, but Kris' verbal support was as much as you could ask for. (2) Months later it looked as if I would need help caring for my aging husband and his inability to stand. I contacted Homewatch and talked to Kris - who assured me they would be able to help when my need was acute. Sure enough a few weeks later my husband was released from the hospital and I needed respite care. Again Homewatch found the right person for us. A young man, who could bathe and help my husband sit up was available. We are very happy with this person and the care that he takes of my husband and the help he is giving me where needed. Thank you Homewatch CareGivers of Thousand Oaks for your amazing service to our community. For many years, HWCG partnering with Seniors and Aging Solutions has brought their Dementia Mobile Unit to the CSVP Wellness Fest at the Goebel Adult Community Center. The information provided to seniors and caregivers while partaking in the Dementia Live Experience is invaluable. Senior patrons and Conejo Senior Volunteer Program Volunteers who go through the Experience tell me every year how much they have gained! Kris, thank you for all you do for our community!

You won't find a more compassionate or dedicated person than Kris Martin when it comes to caregiving and bing involved with the community to help people to better understand the reality of, and impact from, dementia and Alzheimer's. Their mobile Virtual Dementia Tour is a must to experience for anyone who has a loved one with dementia. If there was a sixth star I'd award it to them.
