My dad recently moved into Homestead in Algona. I can’t say enough about our experience working with the staff and dad’s experience being there.<br><br>We are one of those fortunate families when it came to the decision to move a loved one into assisted living. It was an easy transition. Dad was ready and excited about the opportunity to find a community. He was missing daily interaction with people and he found it here. He constantly shares stories about the friendships he’s developed. Several of the residents are individuals he’s known over the years, but he’s also made many new friendships.<br><br>He frequently comments about the wonderful staff and how busy he is during the day with all the activities. Each time we’ve had a question it was immediately answered by the administration.<br><br>Downsizing his home at this point in his life has allowed our family the opportunity to visit more often and spend time together - which is an added bonus!

This is a lovely facility within a beautiful setting. The grounds are well maintained and there’s a paved walking trail just steps away. The staff and management are always helpful.

Such a loving community and clean atmosphere with a variety of things to do. Really was impressed with the staff and room sizes!
