Mixed Bag. We engaged Home Senior Services to watch my Mom and some of the aids were fantastic while others were subpar and needed to be watched/managed carefully. Overall, I wasn't impressed by the quality of the service. Some would do light housekeeping while other just wanted to sit in a chair and play on their phone. Not professional.

All we needed was to have a sitter -- someone to stay with my mother-in-law whenever we would go out. They would take care of her while we were out. They would get her up and help her to go to the bathroom, get her something to eat if she was hungry, and they were here when they were supposed to be. They maintained the schedule that I had asked for and did a really nice job.
