Home Instead provided 24 hour care for the last three months of my mother's life. It's hard to put into words how much the staff meant to our family. They truly loved her and made her feel so special. Because of Home Instead, she was able to live at home until the day she died. All of her care team was spectacular, but special thanks to Christine, Palinee, Cheyenne, Brooke, and Joanne.

Home Instead provided excellent care for my mom. I could always rely on them. The staff and the caregivers are kind and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate ever changing situations.<br>My mom was able to stay in her home because of their care I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for caregiving for their parent or loved one to consider Home Instead.

Home Instead was an answer to our prayers when we needed daily care for our mother. From the office staff, to caregivers to billing, every person provided kind and caring support during a very difficult time. The caregivers made our mother feel supported and safe while they assisted her with ADL. Each caregiver also provided companionship and a sense of security for the entire shift. Home Instead is a top notch home care business that provides personal and loving are to their clients.

My mom was put on Hospice in late 2024, early 2025 for her vascular dementia with Alzheimer's. My dad found Home Instead in New Braunfels and every single person they have sent to help my mom has been fantastic. I cannot begin to ever thank Christine enough for her compassion and companionship. I knew she was in great hands when I met Christine. She was so gentle and kind with my mother, even when she would get agitated and emotional. Christine was such a blessing for my dad too - he was able to do things he needed to without worrying about his wife getting hurt, eloping, or being a bother to family who aren't equipped to watch her. I forgot the name of the nurse on call when my mother died on the 17th, but I walked into my parent's home with her and she gave me the biggest, warmest hug before I went inside. She prayed for my mom, made sure she was very respectful of her body and was very respectful towards us. She even grabbed a rolled up towel to put under my mom's chin to keep her mouth somewhat closed. Small touches like that to keep her dignity made me feel comfort in knowing she was so very loved by the staff and nurses that took care of her.<br><br>At her service, the chaplain who works with y'all (forgive me, I forgot his name) gave a lovely service and sang for my mom (even though if she was alive still, she would be telling him to quiet down - something she did to us even as kids if we got a little rowdy).<br><br>I know caring for other people's loved ones is not an easy task, but you honestly have some of the best humans working here and I could not have asked for better care for my mother.<br><br>Thank you, all of you.

Home Instead has been a godsend after a foot surgery that left me in a full-leg cast and wheelchair for several weeks. From the very first encounter, Jenny, my care manager, made me feel very comfortable that I had made the right decision to contact Home Instead. She was friendly, professional, and she explained their program in detail. I have been cared for by several top-notch caregivers, and I would gladly call Home Instead again if I ever need their services. There were three caregivers that went above and beyond in their service: Louise H. (cooked, cleaned my entire casita and even swept the front porch and walk, and took care of my pets), Dora H. (cooked/prepped food beautifully for me and was diligent with pet care, cleaning, and other requests), and Varaluck K. (helped me set up an impromptu party for unexpected guests in 30 minutes (!), cleaned and took great care of my pets, too). Anyone would be fortunate to have one of these ladies or any of the Home Instead staff help when you need it. I can't thank the entire Home Instead team enough. You all are GREAT!!!<br><br>2 years later (2/12/2026): I wasn't kidding when I said I would gladly call Home Instead again if I needed help! After abdominal surgery, I wanted someone to be on hand for a few nights while I went through the worst part of recovery: the first 3-4 days. Those days and nights were rough, and I'm so glad I called Home Instead for assistance for 5 nights. Rebecca Y. was my helper, and she was perfect in every way: attentive, but not overbearing, helpful with my pet care, bed linen changes, meal prep and cleanup, standing by for bathroom visits, walking with me outside, etc. I felt so comfortable knowing she was there. I appreciate Rebecca, Jenny, and the staff at Home Instead so much! Thank you all! I'm sure I'll be calling you again! You are the BEST!
