It was incredibly tough and heart-wrenching to come to terms with the reality that my dad could no longer stay in the home that he built with his own two hands. However, given his health and overall situation, we truly feel he is in the right place—and that gives us comfort. From the very beginning, working with the Mercy House team has been such a positive experience. The team is not only professional, but also exceptionally kind, patient, and compassionate, especially with my dad. We also deeply appreciate the team’s transparency. They are proactive in communicating with us and have been incredibly supportive. One of the things I love most about my dad being at Mercy House is that whenever I drop in to visit, he isn’t sitting alone in his room; instead, he’s out engaging with other residents and members of the amazing care team! He’s interacting and that’s what we wanted. Thank you to the amazing Mercy House team for everything you do. Your kindness, dedication, and care mean more to me than words can express. You truly are angels! ❤️

My grandmother was a resident at this facility, and the staff was truly amazing. They treated her with dignity and compassion, always responding quickly to any concerns we had and going above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and well cared for.<br>The only thing I would note is that if you are not specifically looking for memory care, this may not be the best fit, as there aren’t many activities to keep residents occupied. That said, the quality of the staff and the level of care provided are hard to beat

Edited to add for a response to the owner: your response and what you stated is ABSOLUTELY NOT MY FAMILY'S EXPERIENCE at Mercy House. If what you stated is true we would not have moved our mom. This place is not what it seems. Mercy House is chronically understaffed. Caregivers have been observed taking breaks and coming back "glassy eyed" and paying attention to their cellphones vs. the residents. There is a lack of training, especially in safe transfers. Skin tears get blamed on your loved one even when you have video evidence to the contrary. My loved on was moved from transfers to the hoyer lift because "Mercy House didn't want to play the blame game". My loved one is perfectly capable of assisting in their own transfers when the persons doing the transfers know what they are doing (proven at their new location). There is a significant lack of supervision of the caregivers. The supervisory staff when on sight spend a majority of their time in their office behind closed and/or locked doors. Medicine is either pushed on your loved one or withheld based on "opinions" regardless if it was prescribed. The doctor's office associated with this facility is hard to get in touch with and more times than not messages that are left do not get return calls. My loved on ended up in the hospital two times within a week based on an opinion that it was just allergies, which turned out to be pneumonia. We transferred our loved one straight from the hospital to a new location due to fear for their safety. Please do not consider moving your loved one here if you care about their health and safety. To the owner who responds to google reviews, don't bother. The information above was shared, don't ask now to get in contact because you care about feedback, that is simply not true.
