My mother was recently a patient at hoeger house. I agreed to have her go there because i had been told the therapy team was really great but after spending time there i think they mustve had a different therapy team than we got. Our therapists were all young girls who seemed annoyed they had to work with mom and were not very kind or understanding of her pain. when i would go visit mom, i would see other patients in the hall with the therapist but the therapist had their eyes glued to their phone the whole time. mom and i were very disappointed in our time at hoeger house and will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I’m giving 5 stars for Clara C. I’m sure there are other wonderful five-star things about this place, but her spirit really shined through. She was very kind and caring and considerate. You can tell she really wants what is best for the residents. It’s nice to know I can leave my family member here, and know they are getting the best care possible.

My husband was in Hoeger House in Olathe, Ks for many weeks. He really liked the food which was half the battle. The staff were always nice to him even the maintenance man, Cody. His care was always great. The home was always very clean. They do need an update which is happening right now. My mother was also in the home just before she died and we were very satisfied with her care and that is why I picked Hoeger House for my husbands medical needs. They get 5 stars from us!

My father was just recently in Hoeger House. Please watch every medication they give you and ask lots of questions. ( I would recommend a cheat sheet for the patient of what they can and will take) Medications were ordered for my dad that he did not need and had never been on. They also gave him insulin over 2 hours before he received his food, which made him very sick. The physical therapy is great, but the nursing side is not. If you are on no medications and can speak up for yourself it's probably OK, otherwise I would not recommend.
