Firstlight has been outstanding. The agency’s service starting with Andrew in the business office, Karen who matched my mother very well with caregivers to Shelby and Rachel, the schedulers, are exceptional professionals who take great pride in quality service. My mother’s morning caregiver Zena is beyond remarkable, she even gave all her clients holiday gifts, she’s always cheerful and has my mom engaged with so many activities like painting and aerobics. The part time weekend caregiver Gene has been a positive support as well as she joins my mother on weekends and she reminds my mother of her retired friends and attends our family events. She’s even on our holiday card this year. Firstlight has been a blessing and has helped my mother thrive in my home. Thank you Firstlight!

Our family has been using their services for quite a few years now, and we've always been impressed by the quality of people they send to help with my father, who has Alzheimer's and needs help with pretty much everything. Currently we have Deliyah, who has been with us for quite a while now, and I can't describe what a relief it is to have someone working with my dad that we can trust and that he feels comfortable with.

I was skeptical beginning care because I had bad experiences with other agencies but after having surgery I knew I needed help, fortunately, they gave me Eleanor. She arrives early to every shift, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help me with anything. I never felt like a “client”, she treated me like a friend with love and empathy. She goes above and beyond, like taking my dog on long walks, I don’t have to remind her to do things, she created a schedule for me to follow for my medications as well as her own cleaning schedule that she maintained perfectly. I am thankful for all she does, and helps me physically and emotionally.

My sister Kathy and I would like to start out thanking Andrew who was great to work with pertaining to anything financial, Karen and Shelby were wonderful with the whole process of finding the perfect person to take care of our mother and we would also like to thank our mother's caregiver, Ruth. Our mother really enjoyed having Ruth who not only cared for her but she also sat and listened to her. We never worried about leaving her to run any errands. We feel very comfortable recommending FirstLight to anyone looking for a company to provide great home care for their loved one. We truly appreciate the great kindness and care they provided our mother.

I am so thankful to everyone at FirstLight Home Care for the support and care that was given to my mother, Barbara, during her last few months of life. We were matched up with our amazing caregiver Cynthia. I do not have the words to express how wonderful Cynthia was with my mother. She was caring, professional and accommodating, making sure my mother was comfortable and well taken care of. It was a great relief for me to be able to go to work and not have to worry about my mother receiving great care while I was gone.
