We absolutely love teaching our boxing class at Hilltop Reserve! The residents are such a fun, dedicated group, and they show up ready to move every week. Kelly is awesome to work with, super organized and always on top of things, which makes our job so much easier. The whole vibe at Hilltop is warm, welcoming, and really focused on keeping residents active and engaged. It’s a great place to be!

Toured with a family member who is looking to move into independent living. This was by far the best community we’ve seen. The activities exceeded my family member’s expectations and gave her a whole new perspective on what independent living can offer. The facility is beautiful—welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully designed. We left feeling excited and hopeful about the possibilities here at Hilltop.

We looked at Hilltop when my parents first relocated and loved it but it didn’t work out at that time. When my mom ended up needing more care, we returned and found it to be the right place with my mom in Monarch House and my dad in Independent Living. Both have been wonderful experiences. Sherry in Leasing is the best and makes everything so smooth from the get go. While being in a facility is never perfect, we have really enjoyed Hilltop. Monarch keeps the residents busy with fun activities and various outings. Staffing is a struggle as it is everywhere at any facility and there is definitely some turnover but it seems to come in waves and seems to be slowing right now. IL has been a great place for my dad to be close enough to my mom to easily visit but still have his own life. They also do so many fun things regularly. The staff at Hilltop from the concierge to caregivers to administration all really care and are responsive to concerns when things arise. I would recommend.

My husband and I moved to Hilltop Reserve from a New York City apartment March of 2024. Like so many people in their 80's considering a next stage of life, we didn't expect to move to a Senior Residence. However, with Sam's Parkinson's progressing, and with many family members migrating to Denver and raving about living here, we decided to make the move, too. We looked at a few residential situations and found Independent Living at Hilltop to be perfect for us. It's a comfortable home with a warm and caring community of staff who are kind and competent and residents, many from Denver, with varied and meaningful histories. We're offered a good variety of programs and activities featuring excellent speakers, lively excursions, an always active game room, swim and exercise sessions that are tailored for the population and are fun. Yes, fun! And events to mark all sorts of holidays, done with great spirit by a staff that also knows how to celebrate in style. Each passing day confirms that we made the right decision at the right time when we chose Hilltop.

Hilltop is where the collaboration between Atlee Home Care and Ascent Senior Living started. Atlee is a local home care registry that connects experienced caregivers with older adults who want a little extra support while staying in the place they call home. Hilltop gave us that first open door. Robin Wilson, the Independent Living Director, was the one who first invited us in. She gave us a chance, and once we earned her trust, Susie Finley sat down with us and asked us to work more closely with the Hilltop team. That meeting changed everything. We’ve now had the privilege of walking alongside many of their residents, helping with things like companionship, personal care, transportation, and even just being there when family can’t. We love working with Mary Beth, the Executive Director, and the entire Hilltop staff. They are compassionate, experienced, and deeply committed to the people who reside there. Susie and Tom Finley have created something special at Hilltop. It’s beautiful, yes—but more importantly, it’s filled with people who truly care.
