I'm giving The Highland House 5 stars because of Doreen, the nursing staff, therapists, CNA's, housekeeping and everyone who has had a positive impact on my Dad. I'm grateful for the ones who advocated for my Dad so he could receive the best care today. I'm also grateful for the Veteran's Administration and everyone at the Highland House who appreciates our Veterans.

I’ve been hearing some horrific things about the new administrator, Patrick Cossel. She has taken away peanut butter, hot cocoa, cheese, sticks, sandwiches, Ice cream, and phones from the patients. He has fired all the long-term and best employees so that he could replace them with inexperienced lazy employees who will Look the other way and not turn him in!<br>The patients are being neglected and They are suffering! There’s an extremely high turnover rate because of poor management and lack of care for patients! Do not send your loved ones here!

Horrible place. Food served there looks a lot like what my cat pukes on the floor. 95% of the CNA's are rude and don't care about the residents. Doctors orders for meds are not followed. Seems like all they really care about is being paid for services not rendered. Physical abuse of residents does occur. NEVER put your loved one in this facility

My mother has just been placed there 2 days ago. She is not given her medications she has been on for years, including life needing insulin. Her blood sugar is at 500 and they refuse to do anything for her. She could have a stroke. She is left sitting in her own waste products for hours. Even when they are told she needs changing. We came in to see her this morning covered in dried vomit all over her. This place is paid to CARE for our loved one not abuse her!
