Although this facility was unfortunately unable to meet our current needs, I was exceptionally impressed with the staff and with the tour. The facility was clean and well cared for. Residents were out and about and social. Menu looks great and in general this place seems like it would be worth the wait (current wait list for a room is about 1 year).

Shiela was very informative in terms of tour and marketing and June, who would asses client needs for assistance was extraordinarily helpful in making recommendations even when we took time out of both of their busy schedules last minute.

Thank you both again.

The staff at Heritage Place are exceptional! My parents moved in almost a year ago and have come to call it home. My family rests easy knowing they are in a safe and well staffed environment who take wonderful care of our parents.

We are very thankful we found Heritage Place for our dad/grandfather. It is a wonderful and cozy place. We like that it's not too big so it feels personal and homey. It is clean and always smells good and it feels like a real home, not a "facility". The staff always goes above and beyond to help the residents with kindness and patience. We love Sara, Sheila, Erika, Cindy, Samantha, Daniel, Paul, Junne and Jayflor. There are frequent outings (to HEB or Walmart and local restaurants) and fun activities (music, games, crafts, parties with family members invited, movie/TV watch parties) for the residents. And the big covered back porch is amazing - so inviting and comfortable with several fans, plenty of seating and a deer feeder and bird feeders to encourage the wildlife to come visit. The staff always makes us feel welcome when we go visit him and they share updates on how his day went, how well he's eating, etc. If you have a family member that needs any type of assisted living, we highly recommend Heritage Place.

We moved my very independent mom into Heritage Place early this year after she unfortunately fell and broke her hip on Christmas Day. She also suffered a small stroke after her hip surgery. It has been a challenging transition for all of us, however the staff at HP have definitely helped make the move as easy as possible. Mom loves the food! They have many activities for the residents to participate in. Shelia Knowles was so helpful during the admission process. She certainly made a difficult time so much easier. I have to give a shout out to the OT and PT team; Roy and Lillian have helped my mom progress immensely since her admission. The staff is “ Johnny on the spot” when answering the call lights. This feature is a definite plus!
We are also so appreciative of Kristen Steinke, NP who was taken care of mom as needed. Sarah Welch the director is very quick and helpful to respond to any questions and or concerns we have. Im editing my review to recognize a very precious person, Adela. Mom absolutely loves her. She always goes above and beyond in caring for mom. Thank you so much Adela, we really appreciate you. Thank you!
