I have moved my father through several facilities since he developed dementia, and Heritage was the first place I found that truly stood out for its character, cleanliness, and the kindness of its staff. For that, I am incredibly grateful. My father was recently moved into the Memory Care Unit due to becoming a flight risk. The staff in that unit have been nothing short of wonderful. They are attentive, compassionate, and genuinely caring toward the residents. I appreciate them more than they know. However, I would like to share a concern regarding the condition of the Memory Care Unit itself. Much of the furniture, doors, wardrobes, nightstands, and other furnishings are outdated and showing significant wear. The flooring is peeling in places, the trim work around the floors could use attention, and the bathrooms, wall décor, and overall appearance of the unit could benefit from some updates and renovation. I have noticed improvements and updates in some of the main resident areas, which made me very happy to see. Now that my father has moved into Memory Care, I am a little disappointed to see that this area has not received the same level of attention. I visit him every single week, and while many residents may not have regular visitors, my father is fortunate to receive consistent visits. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly difficult to take him outside of the unit, so the environment where we spend our time together has become even more important. I would respectfully ask that you consider making improvements to the Memory Care Unit. It would mean so much not only to my father, but to all of the residents who call that area home. I also want to recognize something positive: the Memory Care Unit has a beautiful patio, and I truly appreciate that residents are allowed to enjoy it. My father and I spend time there during nearly every visit, and it has become one of our favorite places to be together. Thank you for the care you provide to my father each day. Thank you for the kindness of your staff, and even for serving food that genuinely looks appetizing and enjoyable. I am very grateful for everything you do. I simply ask this one favor in hopes of making the Memory Care Unit as warm and welcoming as the people who work there.

I was really impressed with how clean this SNF smelled and looked. Staff were friendly and helpful! Went to a secured unit and liked the way the staff had the residents doing a group activity as well all the residents looked happy and well cared for.
