Ok, My mother will be 94 on June 11th. She is a patient of Helmwood, and I will have to say that the staff here is outstanding. It is a small place, but to me it is better for her, than any bigger place could be. The Administration staff is very helpful and They will help you out with anything that you need. They are really awesome people.

My PCP refused to order a CT scan after a surgery operation issue occurred. These people really don't care about human life. My surgeon even sent her a letter asking her to order the CT. But she still refuses to help. Enjoy your 6 figure paycheck while I suffer. Typical elite, picking on the blue collar worker.

Thank you to the healthcare teams that work together to provide the best possible care to keep our loved ones safe and healthy, so they can spend more time with family as they age. They are able to provide the constant 24 hour care that we as a family are not able to provide in a safe environment. I enjoy how the staff interact with residents and how they have given my Mom a cute nickname! Mom tells me how good the staff is to her, of course she has some favorites. Blessing to you all!

My loved one has been a resident at Helmwood since August 2021. I have been in the facility at different times of the day on different days. Nurses are attentive to her needs, and they keep me informed of any changes to her care. The CNAs that I have encountered love my friend and treat her with love and respect. The front office staff are friendly and go the extra mile to help when I have questions or need clarifications or documents. The social worker is a dependable liaison when I need to get information from her or another employee. The activities director and assistant are encouraging to the residents and are always upbeat during recreation time. Care conferences are regularly scheduled, and participants are always well prepared during our meetings. I am so thankful for Helmwood Healthcare staff!

As a retired dialysis worker, I can say our patient’s that were in this facility were treated excellent. They got to their appointments on time, and they were happy, and clean. We didn’t see that with the patient’s that came from other facilities. They all raved about the kindness of the employees, the great care they received, and the yummy food!! This is the only place I would trust to take care of a family member.
